Wow that is a big bummer Blakey, seems like there a lot of folks kicking off about it on ECF. haven't had chance to read the full thread. I thought the proteus was almost sorted, as in going on sale in a couple of weeks and I thought someone got one at vapefest....will they not be made at all now?

they did offer one as a prize for one off the first batch when they become available Bet the winner is pissed, I would hope he does a version without VV but a version that allows air flow control for the penny, that would rock, if only for the form factor that only the piccolo seems to offer.

The piccolo and penny is a nice combination but the battery power drops off way to quickly for me, once it's below 3.6 then I have to recharge

I'm talking a couple of hours mate, when I do my 5mile stay a bit fit walk I take it along, that takes me 1hr 10-15mins and when I get home it's reading 3.7v. I then get about half hour before it's lacking enough power to hold my attention

If you have a 14500 battery you can put an o-ring around it and put it in an 18490 mod and try the staying power for yourself I would have been quite prepared to use proteus with regulated power and a module that would boost the remaining battery life, I would've lived with 3 hours from a battery and carried 4 or 5 batteries with me. I put an AW 14500imr in the provari with said o-ring to give it width and keep it centered and I got 3 hours from it

Bet the winner is pissed. I'm gutted, the anouncement couldn't have come at a worse time, I've just used all the money I could have spent on a Provari on a bulk buy from Health Cabin. Looks like I'll have to start saving again because my LT probably won't last much longer.
