Had probs with wicking last night and was tired so have ordered an evolv kick...
Had a lavatube mark 1 in the past (still have it actually) so wondered what's this voltage/wattage business as I'm used to voltage (loved an lR carto on 3.4 in the lavatube)...
Can someone please explain. I shall be using the following set up with my kick (I Have a silver bullet with an extension sleeve)
HC tank LR Boge carto
Thanks
Jane

I got it sorted. I knew roughly what wattage I needed from like the calculator (not really knowing the ohms of an LR Boge) and played and got it sorted.
Alas the kick isn't terribly accurate when it comes to wattage but still. It did the job. I found with the kick I needed to increase carto holes in my tank but asides from that it's fine...
Is it better than a standard 3.7v battery in a silver bullet? Makes the silver bullet a lot longer (with a sleeve) which I don't like. Don't know...
And I've taken off the shrink wrap by mistake so now a tad worried in case in goes whoosh bang

Not having any Boge LRs to test, I did a google search for "Boge LR ohms" and it told me that they were 2.0 Ohms, so at 3.4 volts you're vaping at around 5.8 watts. Putting that in to the calculator tells me that to get the same experience from a Boge SR (3.0 Ohms) you'd have to up the voltage to 4.2 volts. Hope that helps

That's the beauty of the Kick - set the watts you want and no matter what atty or battery state, you will vape at consistent wattage

D'oh, I didn't see it was a kick you'd got! Well aim for just under 6 watts then once you're happy you can forget all about volts and watts and resistance

Thanks chaps...
Got the shrink wrap issue fixed. Just ordered some 20mm heat shrink tubing off ebay...will be using a hair dryer with that I think (cos I'm a girl) and embroidery scissors if there's any excess.
Also when I first got it I had an issue with the screw (all I could find was a bent hair divider for cutting hair to do it)...that was fixed with the pc screwdriver kit from the pound shop:)....
Argh so watts are more consistent than volts cos volts you have to change if the atty is different whereas watts you don't right?
It's nice just under 6 - might bung it up a little don't know
