An ego style VV e-cig with either a twist or buttons which is shorter than the ego-c twist but also has removable batteries rather than being a solid unit? I've seen the Mars VV which looks great but it uses a 4V, 5V, and 6V step up system which I don't like. (I want something with full control on the voltage) Mars VV:

It's also called a ego-v6 or a Akston Hughes SVR..Plenty of vendors around for it. I think you can buy it from here for a good price. www.britvapes.co.uk/product-p/v6.htmUses stacked batteries, not a desirable configuration..

Could someone please explain why stacked batteries isn't a good thing? Not knowing anything about electrics/electronics, this passes me by completely!!

I think stacking batteries, especially high power ones, can be dangerous. I'm not entirely sure why ??? If you have a google you will find more information

If you want to stack Lithium Ion batteries you ideally need a charge balancing circuit like you will find in laptop batteries which does not exist in e-cigs. Without this there is a higher risk of stacked batteries going thermal, ie., venting with fire and in extreme cases exploding. People do use them in e-cigs and charge and discharge them in pairs, but it's not a desirable configuration for something you are going to use so close to your face, but to each his own.

Right, so I managed to break my twist this morning while at work (no idea how, the button just got stuck). Before getting home and attempting to repair it, I went back to where I got it from and asked the guy to have a look at it. He ended up giving me a new twist! Apperantly I was still under warranty! I was taking to him about upgrading but I didn't fancy the odyssey. He pulled out a chrome mini which I think is a rebranded lavatube. 2nd hand, boxed with 4 batteries and a charger he wants £40. Is that a good deal? It's by tw btw.
Does anyone know which LT version it is?
Thanks, Chiller.

Did nobody watch VTTalk? Pretty sure they were talking about stacked batteries on there. Some guys bird has been using them for years without problems. Not saying it's safe, just saying maybe you should watch VTTalk.

I've been using ultrafire red and silver batteries for ages, no problems.... wouldn't recommend them to others without pointing out the risks though

Personally I find the idea of using stacked batteries, terrifying, but yeah. Even if it is a one in a million chance of them actually exploding. I tend to like my head. I only mentioned it incase anyone was interested in the discussion on VTTalk.
