I was just teasing - can't fry anything 'cos hob has been packed away ready for my move since my first effot!! Whenever that may happen!!

Still nothing for me. I did go and look (from the outside) at a block of flats on Sunday, which was on the list in Tonbridge. By the river etc.
But I found it really over powering and all the windows frames are brown, look small. Seems to be the 'in thing' these days but to me, grim. Ugh!

I did go round the back and yes, it is beside the river - but the dirty end of it - rubbish, tin cans etc and some sort of factory a little way up.

So I will wait a bit longer. It is getting frustrating and disappointing now really.
However the HA's have decided that the time between the 'adverts' is too long, as the most 'bids' are over the first weekend.
There will now be just a week between - so I can be disappointed more often!!

Something must happen for me soon - surely?? Come on you peeps put your 'wish' hats on for me!!

^^^^ I don't do 'cooking' The hob is just for my once now and then, fried egg.

By the way, I am still 'chucking and packing' so the time is not being wasted. MM

It's so frustrating because I always owned my own property But, after my divorce I made sure my four children each had a place to live - then I walked away and got a job with a flat. Husband moved in with new love. Her husband was not too happy and moaned at me!!

After a while, the council wanted my flat etc for redevelopment.

My employers got the compensation and I was rehoused to here.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this flat - top floor, large windows and space. But, I now cannot manage the 33 steps to get up here. No lift and not possible to install one.

That's the pleasure of getting old. Still, I will bide my time and get to where I want to be - hopefully!!

Jerry, I have had and will continue to have a very good life. A few glips along the way but that's the nature of things. Nothing can be perfect, that's the fun of life.

Who knows what's around the corner????? New flat - hopefully. MM
