Just tyried my Kayfun 2.1es using .20 Kanthal 4 wraps around doubled 3mm silica wick and vapes great but....if I leave it standing for a few minutes, when I go back to it I get a bit of gurgling! popped a pointed bit of kitchen roll into the airhole and it comes out wet. Vapes fine after that until it is left for a few more minutes, I get the gurgle again and with the kitchen roll pointy bit in the airhole, it comes out wet again. I am just worried that if left over night, will I lose all my juice. Any advice greatly received. Thanks Sounds like you don't have the wick ends tucked down to the top of the juice channels

Cheers Blakey, I was using it in the shorter tank version and I must admit i folded the wicks upwards to get the juice control on....should I have them pointing down? how do I stop the wick getting in the way when I screw the juice control thingy down fully? I wodered if I have the wick/coil too near the airhole and perhaps juice was running into the airhole. What size wick are you using, and how many layers?. After that first draw with the gurgle it is perfect, just want to get rid of the gurgle. Perhaps I need to watch some more youtube vids for setting up the wick/coil!
Cheers for your help

I do mine with a 2mm wick folded twice to treble its thickness and I make it about an inch in length overall. Before you put the top of the cone on you get the chance to poke the trailing wick ends down to the base and over the juice channels- think about it, if the wick is high up from the base then when the juice comes up the channels there is nothing to stop it heading straight for the air tube. If the wick is pushed down to the top of the channels then it will instantly soak the juice before this can happen.

Thanks Blakey, I think I have made a schoolboy error. I had put the juice control on, forgetting that I can unscrew the tube from the top of the small tank,(the first piece that screws on around the wick), which allows me to still get to the wick and poke it down. Doh!
It still wicks great but I suppose that with the wick pointing upwards, any liquid on the wick is falling down to the airhole due to gravity. Will empty the tank and poke the wick downwards.

Get it wicked, I use 3mm silica doubled, 4 wraps .20 Kanthal, or Blakey uses 2mm silica trebled. Cut the loops of silica once coil is connected, screw on the small tank with the etched initials, wet the wick with juice, poke the wick ends down into the tank, put the short tube on (or long one if you are going large) screw the clear tank on followed by the steel tank, screw on the top making sure the "o" ring is in the cap, plug in driptip, turn upside down and fill using the spikey filling cap supplied by pushing into the fill hole next to the airhole, (the left hand hole when upside down. Pull out the fill nozzle and vape....oh yes and enjoy.

I done it, and wow wow wow, better than Penny was, and easier to wick and coil and fill as well, I'm well chuffed, even though i messed up at first, I thought you had to put some wick down the channel like you do with the penny, and of course no juice was getting through, so emptied it and thread wicks through and push them down again, sorted + I have only used two strands of 2mm wick, will use 3 next time, but it's brill and you get to watch the bubbles come up as well

wasn't happy with the wick, thought as air bubbles were only coming out of one hole that maybe some wick was blocking it, anyhow, recoiled with three strands and it's blowing my head off now. oh wound in the airflow as well, that makes a hell of a lot of differance, as per Todds vid cough cough Think I'm o'd ing now, can't chain vape with this thing

I'm one very very happy vaper tonight thanks to this atomiser :)Stuff the Oddy,I-atty and genesis atomisers, this is the best way to vape. After a poor and rushed attempt earlier this afternoon i sat down tonight and set this up properly thanks to Blakey sending me his excellent tutorial.Childs play to setup and i just doubled over a single piece of 2mm CE2 wick, coiled it with 5 turns of 0.2 nichrome for a nice 1.2ohm coil, put it altogether as Blakey said in his guide and WOW.Best rebuildable i've ever used and the more I'm vaping it the better the flavour is getting.Built like a tank and well worth the high price paid IMHO.I must start saving up for the new version coz this atomiser is just bad ass and a joy to use in every way.A massive thanks to Blakey for all his help and patience and the great how to guide.I would also like to thank Dave who has kindly sent me some Ekowool to try, cheers mate. This thing WILL NEVER be on the classifieds ;DIf you don't already have one then you have to get one to appreciate just how genius they are.
