Just wondering whether mods have a shelf life?
My trusted LT doesn't seem to have as much ommph as it once had. I have new batteries and regularly use new cartos. Just can't work out if it could be on it's last legs or not.

The only way to tell would be to test it for voltage.

Try cleaning the 510 connector, and the parts where the battery connects. Unless a component has failed it shouldn't change it's performance unless there is a poor connection. It could be possible there is a failed component on the circuit board.

I always clean the connector part with alcohol. However, when I think about it, I may have neglected that for a while lol.
Will give it a go and see if it makes any difference, will also try an new carto aswell.

Just can't work out if it could be on it's last legs or not. Oddly, I turned down a new LT this week for a "vanilla" mod. (Joyetech ego-T tube/controller). Apparently, the voltage readings on some LTs are a bit hit and miss. I have to say, in fairness to the Vendor's advice, the Joye tube vapes just as powerfully on a set 3.3v as my LT at more. I haven't even tried it unregulated yet.

Dj, why is the Joyetech mod 'vanilla' ??? Oh, sorry. I meant plain as in non-VV. Vanilla is a bad choice. It's a great thing though.

Indeed Djs, i may have a couple of those mods they are a good buy for the money and come in pretty colours Probably the only mod where you can charge the battery inside using a USB ego charger, so a very handy back up device!

Oooo..that looks rather complex karma. Would I just be able to put my batteries in, plug in the wall & away I go?

Not complex at all Hissie, works in much the same way as your trustfire, only diference being that you need to use the included spacer to charge smaller batteries such as 18350s
