Hiya all Just got the kit together and working Nice minty taste and the inhalation vapour felt nice . Should I follow any loose rules on how often to vape or just as I feel to start with. Its a weird one as I'm used to smoking a fag which is .. I don't know .. 10 drags a fag ... so habit is telling me to keep puffing on the e cigarette for a while but theres no end point or signal from my body that I'm done so I dont really have an urge to stop or rather an end point ( ie fag is finished ) Should I maybe take a few drags and then wait til I feel desperate for a "fag" then puff again or is there a better way Its confusing but I know thats just my fag habit throwing me. Also - could anyone direct me to a good thread (as I'm sure there must be one ) on what to expect by way of symptoms from getting off the fags. I'm expecting to have some withdrawal symptoms from the chemicals and tar - is that right xxx

Can I also ask where you get your lovely little banners from that say fags not smoked and money saved. That will be a MASSIVE motivator for me xx

I'd go with the flow. I still find I can't put it down way beyond the number of drags I would have had with a ciggie lol The longer and slower the pulls are the hotter the coil is and the more flavour and vapour you get. There is a 8 or 10 second cut off though to protect the atomiser from burning out and the battery light will flash. Try all ways and see what suits you best, experimentation is the fun part of vaping

Hi Karen
I just started last week and I was told through my thread that you may have to have the odd fag at the beginning. I reckon I've had 10 in a week.
Also you may have to puff more as the nicotine won't get in your system as well as a fag.
So far good advice but if you really feel like having a fag take a few good puffs on your Riva and it should go away.
good luck Soo

Another question : just reading the bumpfh that came with the kit and it says in short " clearomisers are disposable elements .. blah blah , allow for replacement when flavour gone or coil stops working .. blah blah , this can vary from one to several weeks based on eliquid and amount of use "
How often should I expect to replace - should i buy a reserve asap
Sorry for peppering you all with questions - newbie excitement he he
Karen x

I think the clearo's last anything from 2-8 weeks depending on how much you use. I have 3 on the go with didderant flavours and a spare unused one.

Karen, it really is a good idea to buy a couple of spares! You can't just nip round the corner to Spar to pick up a clearo unfortunately Don't go too overboard on spares though as there is just so much to try now that you may find something you like even better!
