I ordered numerous items on the 17th of October to a total of almost £400, and was informed by UK ECIG that they had dispatched on the same day when I enquired about amending the order.
On the 25th October, a week after I was informed the item had dispatched, I was contacted by them informing me that the most expensive item in the order (and something for which numerous other items in the order were accessories) was unavailable. This was extremely confusing, since they had informed me that the order dispatched a week before. I repeatedly enquired about solving the problem in terms of finding out if anything had been dispatched (since accessories for a missing item are not much use..) and either refunding or amending the order, I was completely ignored for 10 days over the course of four emails. They finally phoned me up when I began to post on their Facebook page and mention them on Twitter.
They informed me that they had a replacement for the item they could not fulfil, and that despite telling me they had dispatched, they in fact had not dispatched anything at all. We agreed that they would replace the item with a suitable alternative, though I was tempted to simply cancel, and I made a point of carefully talked through the order item by item to confirm everything was present.
I hoped the matter was solved, however when the order arrived 10 days later, four items were missing. I videoed myself opening the parcel since I was not confident at all that the order would be correct, given my experiences so far. I contacted them again, and again was completely ignored. Finally I raised a complaint with PayPal claiming an incomplete order.
PayPal unfortunately found in their favour without asking me for any evidence (like the video) - the claim states that the 'items are not covered due to the contents of the order'. I am appealing this decision (and at the end of the day I will simply file a chargeback via my Credit Card to retrieve the money, which will cost UK ECIG twice the amount they owe me)
I'm posting here because I wanted to add my experience to the discussion. I found the company to be entirely uncommunicative and lacking in basic Customer Service, they lied about dispatching, listed products on their website that they did not have in stock, ignored 8 emails in total over a period of 20 days, disputed my PayPal claim which was entirely true, and deleted any criticism from myself and others from their social media accounts.
Obviously I will not be ordering anything from this company again, but I thought it important to share my experience with others regarding how this company does business.
Caveat Emptor.

Thank you for moving it, I thought you'd deleted it at first when I got a notification - glad that was not the case. Sorry for the sad first post, it looks like I'm not alone in my experiences with this company unfortunately. I will take a look around here it looks nice and busy and I can tell you look after the place nice to meet you!

Hi and welcome rwdrwdrwd . I am very sorry that your first post has to be one about the appalling customer service that UKecigstore has offered you and it must have left you feeling let down and out of pocket. As I am sure you have read earlier in this thread, UKecigstore has one of the worst records of customer service that I have come across in the vaping community. There is a similar large thread over on UK vapers here:- ukvapers.org/Thread-What-happend-to-ukecigstore-com?page=7&highlight=ukecigThe Vendor is a member under the name of:- igottheremedy It may be worth adding your story there as well PMing the bloke "igot noremedies. They have been treating many customers in the most disgraceful way for many months now but they always come out with the same lame excuses of just training up new staff or having some shop fitting upgrade. UKecigstore really are the pits and should be banned from the vendors section on all forums. Edit, just Googled UKecigstore.com reviews, just a few more unhappy customers here:- www.google.co.uk/search?q=ukecigstore.com+reviews&oq=ukecigstore.com+reviews&aqs=chrome..69i57.18624j0j4&sourceid=chrome&espv=210&es_sm=122&ie=UTF-8#lrd=lrd Another Edit. I believe their vendor status was revoked on this very site, due to poor treatment of customers. Well done to Chrissie and the Mods.

Greigster I did indeed revoke their vendor status & remove the links to them in our lists of vendors. I had been hoping to reinstate them, but sadly still hearing about bad customer service There has been quite a few more folks posting on ECF, as well, with similar issues.

Chrissie What a shame for all those customers that are not members of quality forums and therefore without the benefit of advice gained from other members. They must be raking in a fortune from all those customers that just give up. It is also sad to see that Paypal do not seem to offer protection for e-cig related items. Personally my next move, should I be in the same situation, would be to write a "letter before action" giving 14 days to settle and send by registered post followed by applying to the county courts if necessary. This can be done fairly cheaply here:- www.moneyclaim.gov.uk/web/mcol/welcomeYou only have to prove you case "beyond reasonable doubt" and with all the other complaints online along with the Video opening of the package, I would think you would win all day long. It is also held in your local court so UKecigstore would have to do all the travelling to attend.......if it even got as far as that. Most companies will cough up long before..........I have had several successes, the most recent was 3 weeks ago from Thomas Cook for a 4 1/2 hour delay at the airport last December.

Hi this is my first post.
I found this site when I was researching UK ecig store. I first used them about 2 months ago. After reading other reports online and there are numerous, I was reluctant to order from them online. I liked the look of some of the items on their site. I decided to go down to the shop in Wembley. Rather than risk ordering online. I was more or less a total noob. Its more of a bare office on the ground floor with a small counter in one corner. There are some alcoves in the far wall with some very nice looking pv's to view and look at. That is still just the same.
Out of fairness and in all honesty the young fella that served me (think his name was Andres) was extremely helpful. I purchased quite a few items including juices. I have since been back about two more times.
I have ordered some items online and it seemed to be ok.
Often on the site things are out of stock for long periods. I don't like this idea of shelling out for pre ordering either. However I ordered their provari caddy and when it got to me by post I opened it and it was damaged. I rang three times to their store before the phone was answered .No problem they said..we will send an envelope to you. Now as this is near xmas and meant to be a present for someone I didn't want to wait, so said I will come down with it. I went down there, there was just a young girl to let me in? Front door is kept locked. I explained to the girl and she went and got a new one and gave it to me I showed her the bag it had been delivered in, a thin barely lined envelope and asked why they don't use better packaging. She said that's all they have??I did want to purchase a mech mod but wanted to ask some questions first. I asked what the resistance was of the ribbon wire they stock and she seemed to not understand what I was asking. When I need to know info about a possible purchase especially related to electrics I expect the person there to know or at least go and find out. All I bought that day was a few juices and I left. I have since made other major purchases online with some well known retailers who seem so much more helpful, obliging and most importantly knowledgeable.
I decided to order some Bastos wick from them which was shown in stock on their site. I ordered several packs of 3mm. I paid for next day deliver and the money was taken from my account. The next day I waited to meet the postman and nothing! I checked my email and it said out of stock and I could buy something else!! I replied return my money immediately. I received notification this has been done, I will have to wait and check my bank statement.
My honest view is they don't seem to care much about the customer. They perhaps just want to ship out the high value items and the so called store seems like they don't really want or need it. I will not use them again as I felt they don't want my custom. I have found much better places which go out of their way to make the customer welcome. They have added some point reward rubbish to their website when surely they should concentrate on their customers being satisfied.
Amateur, very very amateur!
I shall stick around this forum now.

I've been trying to resolve problems with this company since the beginning of November, they don't reply to emails they owe me a battery that went down very quickly. I phoned today no answer and the answer phone was full so couldn't leave a message. They found time to send a email to promote there new web site today but can't provide customer service. They are a get rich quick company, large selection of stock fast service, if they get it right it's 5 stars but if it goes wrong hard luck. They have bad reviews everywhere but with the right domain name and good SEO there's no shortage of new customers, a quick director search will tell a story.
