hows he doing fred? i remember my dad telling me about a farmers dog who caught his leg in trap and chewed it off and still managed to get home. your episode made me think of that from way back when Neo obviously loves you and feels safe and secure at home He's angry that he's got a lampshade on his head, but I feel sure he'd have the stitches out, if we took it off. He's getting several VERY supervised sessions a day without it, as he finds it much easier to eat. Hopefully, he'll be given the all-clear at his appointment on Wednesday - he's chomping at the bit to get out! Both cats are now fully insured, for the princely sum of £15/month (for both of them, not each!) - why were they not insured before? ??? Luckily, he's not been wanting to wrestle too much with Willow, but we have noticed he's got a 'Mickey Flanaghan' swagger when he's got his hat on. Thought of the day: People say "money can't buy happiness". I TOTALLY disagree - I have never been happier about spending £1200, than I was last Thursday. It made me & mrs. fred so happy to get our little boy back, virtually in one piece. Yep, spending it on holiday would have made us happy, but not as happy as Neo does. Still, next time, we can spend it on a holiday as he's now insured! Thanks, everyone for your kind words and thoughts (& Ive still not even thought about a rollie - Caramel tastes so much nicer anyway )

coolibums! one of my dogs split his leg open and had to be knocked out for clean up and stitches. £245 later, he's fully recovered BUT he was insured so only £60 excess to pay. one budget cut i wont be making is their insurance
