As a teacher, I need to be always prepared for an almost unannounced visit by an OFSTED inspector - if it's good enough for us, it should be good enough for all - short rant over! Andy

NO... I agree... But the BIG companies CAN... and it's got to start somewhere. Or else I think it will bite them in the 'bum' A nice thought, but most people aren't that interested. Sad but true fact. Not saying it's related... but just look at Tesco latest results! The mood of the 'people' can have a dramatic effect. Stopping there, cos I'm starting to sound like a communist, which I'm not... just want fairness for all! Deluded, yes!

The Tesco in Truro has just had a re-fit, and as part of their new look, have introduced ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) technology. You are scanned as you enter the store and if you spend more than £5 you scan the code on your receipt and you are allowed out with no charge. Spend less that £5 and I think you are charged £5 to exit. The reason I'm not sure? I sure as hell won't be going to Tesco Truro in the near future!! Thanks goodness there's a good Sainsbury in the same city where parking is free Andy

I mean, what happens if you just nip in to buy a loaf or two and that's all you need? Disgusting behaviour from the owners.

Don't think I've ever been in a supermarket and spent less than a fiver, i wish.

May not be a view that everyone shares but At least Primark sell their stuff cheaply Not like companies like Next who use the same manufacturers but want to charge us three times more No excuse for poor working conditions though Makes you wonder I've seen some of the videos of Chinese factories building mods and accessories that we are all using and sites like Vaporbreak and FastTech seem to pass on these savings to the consumer. Whereas Apple use companies similar but want to charge us premium rates. Apologies typing head on tonight

You would think our supermarkets would be grateful for any sales. That just shows how much they respect the people who are lining their pockets. Also BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING more and more each day.
