Well f*****g done! Pardon the language but that's awesome, gonna have to show this to the mother in law as she has copd too and my OH is desperate for her to quit the cigs, got her a riva kit but she hasn't cut down as much as we hoped (from 20 to 15 at best).

These are the type of threads we all love to read, because they give us hope that - if we haven't already got COPD or whatever - then there's a good chance that we won't get it now since we kicked the cigs into touch and turned to vaping. This is absolutely great news, well done! I've been stopped smoking ten weeks today and while I didn't have any documented problems I have noticed that I don't get out of breath as easily as before and feel more energetic. When jogging I used to get chest pains after about 7 minutes, now I can jog up to 15 minutes without any pain.

Yours is the kind of story that more people need to hear, especially the opposers to vaping. Have you thought about doing a little video for VapourtrailsTV's Smoke Without Fire campaign? This is exactly the kind of thing they are looking for.

I have never made a video before but i may go buy a cam and experiment il let you know once i have done it and hopefully it will help someone else with the same horrible diagnosis.
And maybe help to keep the eu dictators away from the next law we must abide by while they al get rich of our taxes.

I'm glad you'd consider sharing your story to help others m8. It doesn't have to be hi-tech, a camera phone will do. They have a short guide on doing a video for submission in this video, it starts around the 26 minute mark.

Brilliant news and very similar to what happened to me too, but I had early onset COPD and not full blown. On the last spirometry test I had, I blew the pencil off the graph! The pulmonology clinic discharged me just over a year ago.

Lets just hope the EU TPD leaves e.cigs as they are for all our sakes.

Excellent indeed, same as my situation.

My peak flow rarely topped 150 ml (i think thats the figure) when on stinkies, I was told I had severe COPD and that I was too ill to ever work again

Then 10 weeks ago (yesterday) I started vaping

Peak flow earlier today (looks at clock) YESTERDAY was in the 470's, which is pretty close to normal for someone of my age.



Oh yeah, my 'lung age' was 136 I kid you not!

Get her to up up a nic level or two. I had to to quit the stinkies completely. I am now slowly going down the levels. Was on 30mg all day now down to 24 with 28.5 for times when I can't vape very much.
