Ok, Got my hands on this sunday morning so let batteries have a good charge, had to go out so just had a little play later that evening all seemed well, set to NO2, changed volts ok, set watts ok, tried different atties all worked fine. So monday was my 1st full day with the vamo, managed to find my sweet spot with varying the wattage 6 to 8 watts works for me. When i got home i decided to follow a few youtube vids & set up my new did from vapourbreak having done my vivi novas & the like before. Took the did apart gave it a good clean, set up the stainless wick, fitted the coil, did a few dry burns on the vamo at 3 volts as per robby`s threads, to my suprise all went well good even coil running at 1.4ohm on vamo. Dropped some liquid on turned the wattage up, vaping like a train Now the bad bits, The did is the clear one so filled her up with my favourite juice (tpa rasberry/menthol 70/30 18mg) gave it a few draws next thing juice leaking all over from the lower part of the clear tube, i tried to tighten the did up but all was tight, it seems to be the lower seal under the tube so emptied it out & went to bed. This morning I got up went to use the vamo with my ce4 cleario, its started showing low ohms, changed the atty for my dct tank, just the same, checked the battery voltage showing 7.4 volts with 2 18350`s in. It did come up with 0.2 ohms then 0.0 ohms, so i changed the batteries for a new set with 8.4 volts showing still no go. Please can anyone help. icon_shoppingm

First off, and this is just my opinion, unstack the batteries ( it's a subject that can be debated for weeks, but lets rule everything out). Have you THOROUGHLY cleaned the connector and juice well in the Vamo ? You could have flooded the connector so the atty isn't getting a good connection.

Yes monomach, I made sure everything was clean, luckily the juice did`nt go all over before i noticed it. As for batteries i only have the 18350`s so should i try just one in the short mode?

It's probably not the issue, but lets start with it in basic mode. If you look up inside the Vamo towards the circuit board is it clean ?

Yes the circuit board is very clean as it is brand new, just the brown insulating washer is a bit off centre, i have taken the second 18350 out & set it up in single mode & seems to be working now, 9.9ohms no atty, dct 1.4ohms. Thanks for your prompt reply, when you say do`nt stack the batteries why would that be a problem?

Morning denis9t9 With reference to the DID, the position of the lower brass knurled nut on the centre post is critical. When you a are tightening everything up while fitting the coil connection it is very easy for that knurled brass connector to slacken or tighten so that it is not in the right position on the centre post. I did it myself when I got mine. If the knurled brass connector has ended up too high on the centre post it will leak into the drip well. If it has ended up too low on the centre post it will draw the centre contact up into the 510 connector and cause connection problems and/or leaking issues. The brown insulating washer is often off centre, I think the guy in the factory puts the glue on one side of the washer and chucks it up the tube like a frisbe, he must have been having a bad day lol. Ref the batteries, I personally use stacked batteries sometimes because I like that extra bit of power. You must use start off using them fully charged and treat them as if they are twins. Dont take one out and use it on something else for a bit and then put it back into the Vamo. What is the voltage on them both individually?

Good morning robby, Thanks for that, i maybe tightened the nut up a bit to much thinking it may leak if i did`nt when trying to ensure the post was`nt sticking out to much from the 510 connector, but would that cause the lower tank seal to leak? I was so excited when i got the coil & mesh wick sorted only thing was it tasted very metalic for a start & not as strong a flavour as my cartos, maybe it needs more flavouring in with these, it was rasberry menthol. Ref the batteries one is 4.1v the other is 4.2v i got 8 in total & marked them 1 to 8 so i can use them in pairs like you say. Would you recomend getting an evod to try everyone seems to be raving about them as the group buy would make them £3.50 each from the vendor in Ireland?

Yes, that`s what I did first time round I think, over tightened it so the connection went. I`ll post the pic here anyway, it might help someone.
Yes, it`s a good idea to treat the 18350s as an individual pair, dont mix them up, maybe mark them. I got pissed off with my did, rarely use it now

I still haven`t got an evod, but like you say everyone seems to like them. Worth a go at that price Ref the centre post overtightened, it did leak with mine, probably distorted the shape of the silicone grommet.

I messaged them to ask if it was just the drip tip was Stainless Steel, they should have stripped it down a bit more as well , the top cap may not actually be threaded on that one, may help with lining up the air hole.
