Good thinking Super-Shiny, see @sadie22 your decision has been made. I think i am right in saying any usb to micro usb lead will work with it so if you have one for your phone or camera that will work, as rom said you have the tube sets on your site and the big battery, so would just be the head to buy which means the price is a lot less . The software you download direct from joytech website. Sorted That's right any micro USB lead will work. I found a great one that has an iPod dock connector which flips out the way to reveal the micro USB

Got mine from here last week, came complete with cable, and the new 1.3 was installed for me. Down side with just purchasing the head is no instruction manual Love it, the Provari is now redundant. www.vaperus.ie/spares/170-evic-heads.html

I'd be starting with scratch with either, haven't got any tubes or heads or anything, just a couple of 18650 batteries.

Nooooo I’m NOT Jen, I think the Provari is amazing; it’s well made and very tough and durable, and I will never sell it. I have lost count of the amount of times I have dropped it and still its looks like new it hasn’t a scratch on it after 8 months of constant use, in doors, and out. It vapes extremely well. The difference I’m finding it the weight the Provari in much heaver to have in a pocket. The Evic is much cheaper to purchase, not sure on the longevity of the Evic, as it’s not been out long enough to prove its self where-as the Provari has been out there a long time and has proved it’s self to be a very good piece of kit. I really think you have to go with what your budget allows. If I had to sell one it would almost certainly be the Evic even though it’s my new daily kit, and I love it.

I have 3 Spinners I can use for out and about, but am considering getting something special for vaping at home (where I am most of the time). It would be my birthday pressie, so budget is hubby's problem They do a purple Provari, right? I presume the V2 is the one to go for? Is there a difference between the mini and, erm, non-mini? Should this be in its own thread??

I had a Evic delivered this week, and I love it (it has not been out of my hands). I got it from epuff, and I can only say what a fantastic service from them I sent an email at about 0740, on Tuesday morning asking what was included (it is the Evic, with a battery charger and a lead) and had a reply from Neil at about 07:50. I then placed the order, and Mr postie rang my doorbell at about 11:00 the next day, fantastic ! And the total cost was £63.58 inc delivery, I am one happy bunny

I know @sadie22 cant believe it has gone up that much. I do remember a few people saying joytech were not happy with people selling them cheaper than they want so could be something to do with that.
