Sorry Katfish, i thought you meant like does it run ok! Just tip it in the tank, no mods or anything, straight in. In winter though, mixed with a bit of derv as it is a bit thicker than derv.

Absolutely fine, never misses a beat. Rusty Fiat, never Lol - one of first cars was a Fiat 125S - 1600 twin cam - for it's time it was very quick, but by the time I got rid of it you could poke your finger through just about any part of the bodyworks you chose... I remember em well prof, they were nippy. I had a few mirafiori's and a 132 twin cam, all rust buckets, same as alfa's and lancia's.

Yep, one of my first cars was a datsun 100A, changing gear was like stirring soup and you had to hope you didn't get reverse, when looking for third! That rotted to bits in no time, so I thought it would be a nice idea to rattle it around the fields to finally kill the engine. No chance, I tried everything, but that engine kept on running

Oh sorry Blue, I didn't realize you could do that. Not going to do it to ours though, I would have Graham wanting to stop at every chip shop in Suffolk

Bombproof those little datsun engines, just like ford escort 1100's, wear them out but you can't kill one.

Not going to do it to ours though, I would have Graham wanting to stop at every chip shop in Suffolk I use new stuff, if you use it from chippys, you have to have it filtered and treated. The blokes who do that are too dedicated to saving money for me lol

I will never forget the little yellow peril TBJ 678R indestructable! I went from the ridiculous to the sublime, A Triumph 2000 auto, wow what a car, not good in the snow, the back end used to do quirky, heart stopping things, but then I soon learnt to be a little more gentle with it

My favourite car of my early driving years. I had two triumph 2000's, manual and auto. First one, the manual dropped to bits but what an engine, superb on fuel too.

Why don't they make cars like that any more? The Triumph was a lovely car! The strangest car I have ever driven was a Daf van. My Mother was the proud owner and as she passed her test in an auto, she can only drive autos. Anyhow, this heap was variomatic and the gearing was forward, neutral and reverse. Ran on some sort of rubber bands! She didn't warn me that it went as fast in reverse as it did forward. All was going well until it called for a little reversing, and somehow I managed to reverse at breakneck speed and hang the front wing on a concrete bollard. The front offside wheel was off the ground and my Ma was a bit huffy about it. I got out and tried to lift the heap off the bollard, to no avail. By that time I was beetroot colour, partly because I had a small crowd of onlookers, and partly because my Ma was giving me an earbashing. Fortunately some of the onlookers took pity on me and we all got together and lifted the heap off the bollard. They even pulled the wing out so that we could drive home. I paid for the damage and never got in it again! Cars eh??

I remember my dad having one of those, about a 1972 model. The slogan was forward to go forward, back to go backwards! I'm glad the super daf I drive now is nowt like that pile of cr@p!

hello Blue. I'm lucky I had to buy my microwave but my boss had it fitted for me. I'm only 5'11 but I could do aerobics in the cab if I was so inclined, but I just settle for a quick stretch and put my trousers on while standing upright. By the way the Volvo is home. She is lush. Never owned anything like it before in my life. Thanks J.

I've only ever seen my OH do aerobics once before and that was because he had a wasp in his lap
