Q: OK my question is well really my problems is I have a ViVi Nova so I replaced the head and it did not work so i putted the old one back in and it worked so I tried two more new heads and either of them worked. now i noticed that they have slightly different bottoms from the original one but they are ViVi Nove replacement heads they have more wicks. I figured it was sold as a ViVi Nove replacement Head it would be fine. Is this a common problem and is there something i can do to mod them to make them work if not is the a good place to get replacement heads that have the little rubber nipple top and one wick like the original? Or is it something completely different? please help!!! thank you

hardvapintime - Did you buy the replacement heads from the same vendor as your Nova? Nova heads are notorious for all being slightly different as you have discovered. I always get mine from the same vendor so I know I won't have any problems.
I am aware that you have only just started vaping, but you can save a barrel of money by recoiling and rewicking your own heads, rather than spend £3 a pop on new ones. For the cost of 2 replacement heads you could buy sufficient wire and wick to waste 10 heads before the first one works, and then you are away, costing about 20p each time.
You will need to invest in a multimeter if you don't already have one, unless you have a Vamo which could give you an ohm reading - connecting up a faulty Nova head won't be doing your batteries any favours!

Hi, sadly it's a common problem.

If you like vivi novas, the only safe bet is to buy them from a vendor that sells the exact nova you have. If a vendor sells two types, best to email/phone them first.

Most of us have had this problem, I guess if I'd bought a 5 pack, I'd probably send them back (exchange), but for two, I don't know really.

I only buy Vision branded Novas and then double (triple) check the heads are for the Vision novas.

Whatever happens though, don't chuck them away, somebody will use them.

There's just to many variations of so called "vivi nova" heads. The only way you can be sure to get the correct ones is to buy a branded Vivi Nova but even that's not easy. Or to buy the heads from where you bought the original.

My Nova takes CE4+ heads, go figure?

I didn't find that out the easy (cheap) way, oh no.

Its a common issue,there are so many versions of VN's out there.I only get mine from E Cig Wizard,they might or might not be more expensive but i havent had a duff one yet.I find that the long wick jobs are best as well.

I bought a Vivi Nova whilst perusing some items listed as "Vision".

However, I had simply clicked on the picture of a Nova at the bottom of the page (you know how sites do that).

It came, it didn't vape, it sucked....

(couldn't be arsed with tackling vendor, that was a 50/50 call.....) Bummer.
