Why thankyou Super-Shiny First things first. Get rid of the knurling on the juice control base. Now that's done, my favoured setups are as follows; For 70/30 juice; 1mm ekowool surrounded by 4 strands of 1mm silica at the coil. Trim 2 strands of silica to the edge of the ceramic holder as a juice buffer. Remaining 2 strands go down the channels underneath the ekowool. For 50/50 juice; 2mm ekowool surrounded by four strands of 1mm silica at the coil. Cut top two pieces of silica to the edge of the ceramic holder and the remaining two pieces a few mm longer. Ekowool goes on top of the silica tags and down the channels. In each instance I try to have the four strands of silica at the clock positions of 2 4 8 10. Not only does this make the coil easier to wrap around the ekowool but it also prevents the coil flooding. (even with juice control open by 2 full turns!)
