I'm in need of a bit if help. I've just recoiled the head for my Vision Victory, 1.6ohm coil plus 2 flavour wicks. Now to my knowledge, these heads are the same as the Protank heads which are supposed to need flavour wicks to prevent leaking. Thing is, I'm barely getting any flavour. In fact after a few draws I'm getting the taste if no juice on the coil, really frustrated here.

Just re coiled my protank heads and found that the flavour wicks need to be inside the cup if that makes sense, if they stick out like the actual wick does when you put the little thumb screw cap on it strangles the wick. Super-Shiny is your man though.

iLardyboy - I've been taking Super-Shiny's advice and using 2mm Ekowool with no flavour wicks, and it's been working really well. I've just 5 minutes ago recoiled a Protank head, and with a bit if a wait for the wick to soak thoroughly, it's now vaping really well with some JooseJuice Caramel blend - really nice!

It worked for me on one i did earlier hopefully it works for you. Also if they are anything like the protank heads for the first 5 minutes or so you get a rubber taste as the wire singes the rubber bung in the bottom.

I am looking forward to trying the 2mm ekowool in there when it turns up. I might try 3mm later just to have a play i have so got the vaping bug hehe.

Think I'm sorted now, I think I put in too much flavour wick. So took a bit out and seems to be vaping ok. I'll give it while and see.
When you are all adding flavour wick, do you use 2 wicks at full thickness or less than that?

Unfortunately I haven't got any ekowool chykensa. Is there much difference with it over silica?

When you are all adding flavour wick, do you use 2 wicks at full thickness or less than that? Two strands of wick not the whole thing.

Just to update, all seems to be fine now. Vaping really well and great flavour using Super-Shiny's Black Kitten recipe. Have any of you ever used a Vision Victory? I only ask because mine seems to leak from the sides at the bottom quite often. It's a real pain, but when it works properly it's a really good tank.
