This one made me want to punch "Karen" on the nose:
So, please forgive me when I say that I enjoyed a spiteful little chuckle when news of the ban first came out.

The problem with the word "Libertarian" is that it has become monopolised by the right-wing - particularly in the US. There is actually a long and honorable tradition of left-wing libertarianism - I would describe myself (don't be shocked) as a "Marxist Libertarian"

The proposed removing of our freedom to use liquid nicotine transcends politics so I don't really care where I post just as long as I make my feelings known to anyone who'll listen, even to the point of boring the pants off 'em! When I first started using the e-cig not one person of my acquaintance knew anything about them, most had never even heard of them; not much has changed really and we are a very small minority. Many vapers don't seem to realize the seriousness of our situation, hence the relatively small number of signatories to the various online petitions. From the lack of publicity in the mainstream media, it would seem that is the wish of the MHRA/Government who have their own reasons for keeping us quiet, of that I'm certain. It seems we vapers are lumped along with smokers and drug abusers, as weak-willed individuals not deserving of consideration or even notice. If after the ban is in place, we are seen en masse to stick peculiar white objects in our mouths in public places, we will no doubt be sneered at and looked down upon as second class citizens also - we can't win! I read in another place yesterday that folks are making plans to buy their ejuice from the EU; no one seems to believe there will be an EU-wide ban on commercially available liquid nicotine and think that the hardware will be freely available: they feel that the only thing that will inconvenience them will be larger postage costs - I think they may be disappointed.
