yes the box is identical 
im an engineer and as such when 2 things are put in frount of me i can tell the diff (cant speel to save my life)LOL
but there are dofo large diferences in the size of the top cap,the hole for the drip tip,the tube/chimney inside(the focal one has brass sowing on the bottom were it has been worked after chrome plating)and the corners are not radiused

but the 2 are defo different

This is quite worrying.
I have no problem buying, a copy / clone, or even secondhand, but if I believe I am buying the genuine article, and it is coming in a genuine box, then I want the genuine article as I have paid more for it.

erm the one form focal has the scratch and sniff sticker as well lol
if i ever work out how to post picks ill post the differences
tbh it was a 3rd of the price tastes the same and works the same so im not gona lose sleep over it
just slightly naughty to sell something as genuine when its not and i wouldent of noticed till the convo with mrs mac

when someone has seconds they will norm mark them as so,so peps know that they are getting a second
but still it was only a fiver so not upset with the product and tbh focal would not be able to tell without opening them up but it still nercks a little

Mine do not have the scratch bit with code but they did have a round holographic type sticker you had to break to open them

Well at least you have your answer, but bought as a genuine item, in what appears to be a genuine box, and even has the scratch panel on, you got them cheap and they work fine so all is good, but how many are out there that do not work fine, or that people paid much more money for?
