Try 10% banana and 20% custard, leave to steep for at least 4 weeks as custards take longest to develop. Also watch out because some banana flavoirings are known to crack plastic tanks

I'd try 15% VC . . . I find TPA's more custardy than Capella's and 8-10% Ripe Banana. Which is a known tank cracker as Steve says, though I've not had any problems personally.

I have tried the custard and banana on their own both at 10% The custard was nice but not to keen on banana on its own. Percentages felt about right regarding flavour. I thought when mixing 2 flavours you were supposed to half the percentages.

I thought when mixing 2 flavours you were supposed to half the percentages. There's no hard and fast rules with mixing, you have to find out what suits your particular concentrates and tastes. My VC recipe has several different concentrates in it which total 35% of the mix. Around 20% is generally 'the norm' for a strong flavour and personally I'd add more custard than nana - but the final ratio between the two will depend on your taste

I thought when mixing 2 flavours you were supposed to half the percentages.Understand your thinking and you're right... to a point... Most of us mix a lot higher than 10%, for something like VC, I have a total of 33% flavourings/sweetener, so the recommendation for % are based on a much higher total flavour %. As for just mixing 50/50, it really depends on which flavour you want to dominate, or not. If you have 2 samples already made, try mixing together, directly into your clearo or on a dripper, making a note of what ratio you are trying, so you once you find a ratio that you like, you can make your recipe off of the back of that. Does that make sense or am I just rambling?
