Yes God? don't give Cockroaches wings and let's loose the wasp's can't stand them But i have to say that my biggest fear is Hornet's. They are deadley and i have an outside to paint in the sticks near me, and it is hornet county. so im not looking forward to it. And if anyone don't know too much about them heres a clip of what they can do to 30,000 Bees Please don't watch if your sqeemish. they are pure evil. and i have not been stung by one yet and i hope that never happens.

wasps dont bother me dont mind any insect at all no fear of any animal i couldnt hurt any animalat all exept rats i could gas them all filthy dirty diesiese riden smelly digusting scum of the earth freaks Rats are the most sociable and friendly pet you could ever wish for. Rats are not disease ridden they may spread diseases only because us filthy humans give them the environment to do so. Our fast food culture where everyone throws their food remains on the ground is the real problem. If there was no food waste for them to eat they wouldnt mass produce. Rats didnt create the bubonic plague they only spread it. This on the other hand is evil at it's finest The midge this maybe small but it has been known to make a grown man cry like a baby.

richvapers I had to stop watching that after about a minute cos I was sort of feeling funny ... BRRRR (distress shiver that was). Amazing camera work though. Thank you so much for ruining my day @tubthumper - rats are apparently one of the cleanest pets that you can own, according to someone I know who has got a few.

And here's one to make your bloods curdle .... First time I went to the far east with my wife, we were at her family's house under the mosquito net (and there's another one I'll come back to) ... I was fast asleep, woke up hearing this sort of buzzy noise, said to my wife "what is that"and she said "I don't know". Turned the light on ..... A bloody FLYING COCKROACH!! I mean the crawly ones are bad enough, but giving them wings? Oh come onnnnnnnnnnnnn We get them flying cockroaches all the time here CaptainChaos, as well as the ones that climb up the flippin plugholes and those that meander indoors from the garden, you should see me with the cockroach spray running around the room after the flippin things spraying away till they turn green What I really don't like are the mosquitos, you can get bitten like 20 times in one evening. Found the best thing to deal with those bites is cheap vodka, rub some of that over the bites and the next day they're gone. We don't faff about buying any of that expensive mosquito spray stuff anymore, cheap vodka is best

Oh, and I forgot about the 'Jump Back' spiders - now they are terrible. If you get bitten by one of those it's invariably a hospital job. I got bitten once on the foot and it swelled up like a balloon, went to the chemist and they told me get to the hospital straight away. Suffice to say whenever I now see a jumpback spider I keep well away from it. They are tiny spiders but they jump instead of crawl so you know one when you see one, they're also as black as the ace of spades and they've sometimes got white eyes. So if you ever come to the Canary Islands make sure you keep away from those little blighters or you'll be sorry

Thank you very much for the warning, tootsWhen I worked in Australia (which has more than it's fair share of poisonous stuff), we had cockroaches (not flying ones) in the house & used a Roach Bomb - basically it just filled the house with smoke & we had to leave. Didn't work, either. And the day after I arrived? My boss said "go & have a look in our dustbin", so I went outside, opened the lid & it was CRAWLING with hundreds of Redback spiders & small Scorpions

They seem to like the taste of me, but I don't just get an itchy mark I swell up where they have bitten me, so will try the voddie next time. Do you have any tips to stop them getting you in the first place? Those repellants seem to attract them.

sammy13 - alternatively, you could DRINK the vodka too. One vodka dab on the mosquito bite, six vodka swigs from vodka bottle - win-win!

Not really but I have heard some people say that if you eat enough marmite it tends to keep them at bay, but not sure if that really works or not. With regard the vodka, you could keep a small bottle of it in your bag along with a cotton bud or two and as soon as you realise you've been bitten just dab some on straight away - takes away the sting real quick it does. It's got to be CHEAP vodka, expensive vodka doesn't work

The thing is with mosquitoes, quite often, you don't realise they've drained you of blood until a longish time afterwards. In my case? A lot of lager & pleasant company = total ignorance of the foot feast going on until the morning after. Bit too late for vodka then

Bit too late for vodka then Nah, you can still use vodka the next day, remember you still scratch for days after a bite, so by using the vodka you will stop scratching thereby alleviating the problem. Most of the time it's not the bite that gets worse, it is the constant scratching which makes it worse, alleviate that and the bite will heal itself a lot quicker. Trust me, I live with these bites all the time over here. I can get bitten overnight whilst in bed asleep so the vodka goes on as soon as I realise the next morning, it still works fine.
