Well that purchase could have gone better

With a Nemesis clone due to arrive any day, I thought I'd better get ready and buy a charger and some batteries, so the other night I bought an Efest LUC charger from VaperCaper.  I was a bit miffed to have only just missed a 20% off everything Easter promotion, but went ahead anyway.  I had read a little bit on here about the charger and somebody had said that the first version had a problem, but this had been fixed with version 2.  So the website had a nice picture of the 4 bay charger and said it was a V2, great thinks me, its a version 2, so the problems will have been fixed.

Charger arrives today and its only a 2 bay charger.  The V2 related to the battery bays not the version    

That's the last time I order anything at 1.30am when I'm knackered and should be in bed.  icon_shoppingm

Just got to order some batteries now.  I might have to start another thread for that as I can't afford to cock up that order too!

Fingers crossed the charger will be ok vigowomble - it's not one I know, but others have recommended it on here so I'm sure you'll be ok.

I use Efest IMR batteries, available from MyEpack and many others. They may not the best performers available, but they are inexpensive and safe for the coils I use. Incidentally I need to get some more 18650s so I'll be interested in what others recommend.

It's a excellent charger though vigowomble, 2 or 4 bays.

Currently I'm very fond of Panasonic batteries . . . .

Thanks peeps. So with this Focalecig group buy Nemesis, do I need nipple top or flat top 18650s? I haven't got a kick or a fuse yet either. Will either one make a difference to which batteries I buy? IMR okay without either or do I need protected? Thanks

I haven't looked at the VaperCaper site but I think you're right to be miffed. V2 always means version two. You wouldn't call your bike a V2 just because it had 2 wheels

I've only just got one too after using a trustfire tr001 for a year. What an improvement!

I have been using my Efest Luc 2 bay charger since July without any problems.

But the 4 bay charger is clearly marked V4 , so is it 4th version or V4 as in 4 bays ? With V4 on 4 bay charger I would assume a 2 bay charger was a V2




plus on vapercapers site it is clearly a drop down menu (pictures too) to select V2 (2 bay charger ) or V4 (4 bay charger )

I'm not blaming VaperCaper fiddles, I blame myself for being too tired to read the website properly before ordering. I probably took 15 seconds to order it, didn't notice the 4 bay one had V4 on it as I didn't open the photo larger and didn't pull down the pull down menu to see V4 listed. Lesson learned, I'm sure the V2 will do me fine. Haven't got any batteries to test it yet so don't know.

I know you wasn't mate, I was quoting oneday & pointing out easy mistake ( though still unsure if it is mistake) to call it V2 seeing as the 4 bay is called a V4
