I've been using these little gems for a few weeks now and I've primarily used them for compressing micro coils when attached to the mod AND firing it
Because they're ceramic you can't short the coil.
They've stood up to some extensive use without cracking or splitting so I'm happy to recommend them

Good to know blakey, I saw them and spare tips go up at the same time and thought they might be quite fragile, may just get some.

Don't get me wrong, drop em and you'll break em
Used properly though and they perform just fine and are quite durable

I ordered a pair last week, as it happens - great heat-resistance as well, so no problems when annealing new coils with my trusty blowtorch.

I got this pair off eBay ... cheap as chips and the wooden grips prevent heat from roasting your fingers

They do a great job Jane  ... the cross locking design holds things securely so you don't have to keep pressing like you do with normal tweezers which is a boon for anyone with arthritis in the hands.

I have probs with my foot (don't ask ...it's a pain in the derriere only it's my foot) but no probs with my hands

CERAMIC tipped tweezers, not just ordinary tweezers.
£7 gives me the ability to compress a coil and fire it with the mod. No more heating with blowtorches or heating on the mod and quickly compressing with tweezers before the coil cools down. Perfectly compressed coils every time with ease.
Get back to the top of that insane list where you belong
