I've been looking at getting a dripper but have NO idea of where to start.I have a bridged 306 atty and it gets very hot very quickly and after about2 or 3 puffs it's way to hot and tastes disgusting even at lower voltages/wattages.
I'm looking at the £10-20 mark for one possibly ( If I need it ) with adjustable air control and easy ( ish ) to rebuild.I currently recoil my Evod and Protank II heads with 0.25 Kanthal and cotton wool over a 1.5mm drill bit, is that what I'd need for a new RDA/Dripper or something different ? I'm relatively new to vaping ( nearly 2 months ) and I'm still trying to find an ADV as well as flavours that I would use occasionally, plus there is nothing wrong with trying new flavours when they come out.
If I'm out and about would I need to re-wick my RDA/Dripper when changing juices or can I just chuck in another juice and wait for the flavour to come through , I know that STRONG flavours like menthol and Anise would need to be cleaned and re-wicked, but these are just occasional.
I currently use 2 devices a Vision spinner and a MVP II , are these good enough to drip with ?
So , really you need to treat me as a total noob on the subject.

Montana - welcome to the world of dripping! There are loads available in your price range, mainly clones, but some excellent designs. I'm not an expert on what's out there, I have a 3d and an Origen v2 but I don't think either are quite what you want (the 3d is big, has a tank and only limited airflow options; the Origen is great but difficult to build). I'll let someone else advise on this. Your MVP will be ok but it only goes to 11w - you won't be building low ohm coils, or dual coil set ups at this stage. The spinner will look a little strange! Better would be a mech with a decent battery, but that can be something for the future. For coils, it depends on your target ohms. I'd suggest using a 2mm drill bit and get some 0.3mm kanthal, but you could make some 1.5ish coils with 0.25 with around 6 wraps. When changing flavours, you need to change the wick really. Cotton wool is the easiest, and only takes a minute to do with some practice. For out and about I always use a tank, I save dripping for home vaping where I can tinker to my hearts content.

I just bought an Igo-F, Not sure if it ticks all the boxes. I had to do tweaking but its vaping really well now. Stood up against a PT mini. and This is it broken down
Down side? I had to do some tweaking to get it working right. The airhole was too small and the holes in the deck were too small. A 1/16th(1.5mm) drill bit on the airhole and 3/32nd drill bit(2.5mm) on the holes in the deck sorted it out.
Uses a single coil and the wicks go through the holes in the deck where there is a 1ml juice well that the wicks sit in. Like i say it needs the holes drilling for it to work well, but I thought the size would be ideal for what you are using.
Edit only only put one end of the wick in one of the holes as with both it doesn't wick as well.

For that price the IGO drippers are what you are looking for. While they are cheap they are really good value for money and will let you know if dripping is for you. I have a spare IGO W if you would like to have it. Just PM me your address and Ill be happy to stick it in the post on Monday morning for you Just coil it with silica and you don't need to worry about dry hits ruining the wick. You won't get the same dry hits as you will with cotton and it needs changed less often.

Regarding device question, I use Vision Spinner and it has been doing a great job and as far as I know it is very suitable for dripping

Igo-W has been good to me, but I'm a fan of the Tobh now. Fasttech sell it, if you can wait for the slowboat

I think it may be time for me to move onto a dripper for night time use as I tried a octopus when we all bought them for a couple of quid and I like the flavour that comes out of a dripper

Hi I have to vote for the Origen. I bought a v2 from ebay (now £11 inc delivery or £5 from fasttech) and its great. I have used it in single coil mode which i found fairly easy to coil. Its certainly easier to coil than a taifun and even a nemesis! the only tricky part is pulling the cotton through but its nothing that cant be sorted with a pair of tweezers. As mr ronaldo painted out above, a number of us bought the octopus from totally wicked (sic) when they had them on for a couple of quid. Here is my review. Well me being me, i bought a few. I have given most of them away but i have a silver one left you can have for free if you fancy it. Its brand new but i can build a micro coil, block the air hole and drill out the hole if you fancy as i found it too small. Either way, dripping is the future (for us all)

Where could I get a igo f from? Looking for drippers or tank attys under 17mm I got mine from here igo f and if if you want it for gizmo youll need a 2 510 adapters to make it taller. Like I said, with the size of holes that it had it was rubbish but after drilling(took 5 mins) its working fairly well for a tiny dripper. yes its in gizmo. the o'rings are about 18-20mmx1.5mm and I just used 1 doubled over so it looks like 2 so that it fits properly.
