Twisted Kanthal coils

Had a little time on my hands tonight so figured

Ive got 30 metres of Kanthal
Ive got a drill
Ive got nothing to do whilst HID is watching some **** on the TV
Both my Kayfuns are leaking like buggery and need a rebuild




Once slotted into the Kayfuns , fired and tweeked im getting between 0.9-1.1 ohms

Thats 8 wraps around a 1.5 mill allen key

Really happy with them, theyre chucking clouds of vapor, once i get my VTC5`s ill try a dual set up in my TOBH V2

I use them all the time in Taifun GT ,Squape and kayfuns ... A really good way to go low resistance without having to install fiddly dual coils and they heat up much quicker than using 'fatter' wire

I've got twisted on the mephisto just now, 28G (0.32mm), three strands twisted and made dual parallel coils for a 0.12ohm vape



Twisted 24G (0.5mm) just made to much heat for the mod and atty, the heat would travel down it to fast



Twisted can be fun, really good for flavour.

Geordie ... I've tried stacking 18350s in the useless carvella clone mod I have ... The tubes are way too long for ordinary 18650s so I thought 2 350s might work ... Nope .. They fire but too long ... Gonna bin that useless chunk of metal

There are cloud chasers who have stacked batteries but it's seriously dodgy and highly recommended to be avoided. I don't know the full ins and outs but the people who know what they're talking about say it's dangerous and I believe them.

Just did a 1.5mm 5 wrap into a brand new KFL clone @ 0.5 ohm

Had to swap to my Vapelyfe drip tip with the insulator

The Heat and flavour are amazing

These coils need a health warning lol
