The bnc to 3.5mm audio adapter (needed to match up to your line or mic input on your computer/laptop soundcard) from www.ebay.co.uk/itm/390870794282 £1-75 free P and P
First thing is to point out that you do this at your own risk. It is possible to damage your soundcard using this set up. The scope trace you see at the top is what you would see (after adjustment) if you were to press the fire button for about half a second on a VTR. It clearly shows the pulse width modulation (PWM) waveform and you pushing the button on the left and releasing on the right. I use an external USB soundcard on my computer available very cheaply on ebay, nothing fancy required. You plug the lead into the BNC adapter and plug it into your line input. I`ll help if anyone needs a hand. You should know a little about electronics to use this. The manual is very good
Dont expect total voltage accuracy as it will depend on your soundcard levels.
The white things that the lead is connected to are 2 x 1 ohm high wattage resistors. Exactly the same effect as a 2 ohm coil.

You can get one of these to calibrate your voltage for £14 Edit: don't play with this stuff unless you know or going to learn about electrical safety, even mod batteries can give quite kick if you are not careful and the wrong wires touch.

Looks good VapingBad, what I do is stick it on something that I have checked (MVP) and adjust the amplitude on the scope to match up. It`s more useful for just seeing what goes on

Barely understand what this is. Less what I'd use it for! So guess not for me.

I live in continuous admiration of the wealth that is this bulletin board. I'd guess what this is good for in this context is to determine how effective or suitable VV/VW mod is for vaping. This looks like it will be used to measure pulse I think (and I'm really only passing on what I've gleaned and I'm oh so fallible) this is measuring the pulse modulation used to control the voltage regulator. See en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pulse-width_modulationNow, this matters for vaping because, well, compare say an SVD with a mechanical mod when firing. Listen to it... Notice a regular crackle? That's fast pulses of current (voltage?) being fed to the attomiser to (sort of) average out the voltage. The Mech? Well that should be smooth (it's a continuous direct current). I think the difference between say a Semovar v3 or a Provari and an SVD or a Vamo is the frequency of the pulses (SV or P very fast pulses, SVD or Vamo not so fast) and the faster the pulse the less noticeable. robby , VapingBad - I think you two both know what your talking about so perhaps it's time to step in and correct / clarify / use better language that this layman can muster.
