So I have microcoils which seem good. I have rayon which seems good. I have evod attys which seem ok.
When I combine all of the above it fires at roughly 2 ohm which is fine and works great for a few minutes then starts gurgling and spitting juice everywhere!
How much rayon should I be using as have tried varying amounts with no success?

Take the attie out again and remove the top insert again - lay some extra cotton through the slots and on top of the coil That should stop your flooding issues

So I have achieved a working build @ 1.6ohm with the rayon.
It sounds very aggressive upon firing which is cool but I am getting a funny taste over and above the flavour.
I will soon be resorting to shop bought products again
EDIT bubbling and not getting a pull on it again!

Do you have a clearo with airflow control? It sounds as though your rayon is wicking too well and that you may need to adjust the airflow to the coil?

Rayon needs to be a much more snugger fit than cotton, if you are using the same quantities than you were with cotton try increasing the amount of rayon

In addition maybe when priming just add one edrip to the coil and one at each end watch it soak the material before putting it back together, just wondering whether you may be flooding the atty by accident?
Are you using it on a variable or fixed device?

Think I am flooding it. Using on a VTR. If I blow through atty it works for a minute or so and then floods again. I have had many attempts thus evening and am about to give up!
I can build my dripper fine but this is now pi***ng me off big time.

Should have added, I had to go from 7 to 8.5 when I got better wicking materials and Mr Mac went up to 10 watts

Gave up last night. Today is a new day and it will work fine! Or should I say it better work fine.
If not look out for a low flying VTR over the shores of margate.
EDIT still flooding even if I whack the power up. Have gone up to 12w and still doing it. What is a suggested voltage/wattage on a 2 ohm micro?

Thanks that's what I tried. Maybe wick is too tight or something. Back to the coiling table I go.. ..
