We have just returned from an almost news free week on the Mull of Kintyre. It was wonderful!!!
Because we were well south near a place called Glenbarr, the only TV reception was coming from Northern Ireland and virtually nothing that is happening here in Scotland was on their news channels. No referendum debates, no MPs squabbling over who said what to whom, none of your "she said this and he said that" nonsense that we are getting bludgeoned to death here every hour of every day on Referendum Debates.
The TV companies must be making themselves a fortune just now as they conjure up TV debates where the audience is supplying them with prime time coverage for free.
If you live south of the Border, this "thrilling" experience of getting TV Debates on a question that you have probably already decided on, you will also get shortly when Westminster holds its referendum on EU Membership. I can only suggest that you find a way of retuning your telly to pick up only some foreign TV Channels before you too are sent to Heebee Jeebee Land.
Still 15 days to go.
Whatever happens I will be seriously glad when it is all done and dusted.

My solution has been not to watch TV. I havent watched TV in about a year. All my tevevisual entertainment is online, so never had an issue with tennis/cricket/football/politics overload.
Anyway, 18/9/14 has two more important meanings than the referendum.
1. World Vaping day 2. Wibbles birthday

The 18th of Sept reminds me of the Census that Mary & Joe had to return to Bethlehem for.
Come the 19th we will be on the road again as Recreational Nomads.
