I will be putting a freezer in mine full of Nic Base etc. No room for beer, but perhaps a few ice cubes. My hidey-hole shed is in the next village, far enough away from SWMBO! It is slightly larger.

You'll need to shift the car to fit more bottles of base in lobeydosser

I'm afraid that shed is for 2 classic cars and a caravan.
However they may well have to all go next year as we are looking to buy a 5th wheeler and that will completely fill that shed.
It is all something to do with the equation that the more room you have, the more junk you collect, or something like that.

lobeydosser Crikey! I hope you keep the cars and van in running order... nothing worse than having a lump of rusty scrap in your back passage (ooer).

The cars have not been on the road for a few years. Ill health and all that jazz. The van I bought with the money I have saved from changing to vaping and we used it extensively this year, caravanning from April until October. It is now packed away for the 5 months of winter. This should give me enough time to the Vape Cave up and running and a few MLs of juice ready for next years trips.

Ok I've had a p3 for weeks now.
Upside : it vapes every. single. atty I put on it. No diddling around with screwing the 510. I love that. Downside : a fresh battery, clean conns (I wash them with a toothbrush using iso) the IQ bounces from Good to Excellent. If it's Good I use it, but that defeats the object.
Ups : It is VERY consistent in power delivery. I go with boost 1, seems to work well in the range of 15W-25W. Downs : it's very sniffy about attys resistance. Several times I've literally unscrewed an atty and put it back and it goes from 'ATTY LOW' to fine.
For an expensive mod, I'm a bit disappoint.

Well end of day 2 with the replacement and it is still vaping well. However I am just using it with the same Aspire Nautilus that I was using on the original one and I vape that at 7.6w & at 1,8ohm. I have not mucked about with the LEDs or the Booster (yet). I will run it for a week at these settings, just to make sure and then I will start using different atties and settings.

I notice there has been no comments about the Provari P3 for 3 or so weeks now and I am wondering how folks are getting on with theirs.
I am finding that if I don't keep it as clean as a Surgeon's Knife, I get very poor performance from the battery life.
The other day I had a battery go from 55% to empty in 10 minutes. Took out the battery and put it into a Zmax with the same atty, juice and wattage and it lasted another 11 hours of vaping.
These days I am either vaping in the house or in my new Vape Cave that I am building in the garden. So not places where a mod would be exposed to muck and dirt that would bung up the workings of an e-cig.
I do not usually carry spare batteries when I go out and about but with the P3 I have to carry 2 spares and even then I have been caught out with 3 empty batteries.
I went for the P3 because of the ProVari name and the fact that it was a VW. If it was the only one on the market then I would have to put up with the fact that I have to keep it scrupulously clean at all times, but it isn't and I have better things to do with my time than worry about whether my e-cig will work when I want it to.
If it had worked the way I expected such a pricey item from such a well known provider of quality mods, I would have invested in another, but as things stand, the P3, for me, was a one off mistake.

There must be more to it for poor battery performance as a few are having this issue but mine (the beta model) doesn't suffer a thing.....I wonder if the chip upgrades aren't that good??

I just don't know why it works the way it does. I haven't used my P3 for a couple of days now but it had a battery in it and when I picked it up about 4pm today, the battery level was 66%. I took it apart and rubbed all the threads with a tissue, put it back together and it read 88% battery life. 3 hours later and it is now reading 60%.
The way I vape, I need something that I can wear on a lanyard and I can pick up fully charged in the morning and know that it will still have some battery life in it when I am going to bed at night. I have been using an iStick at a fifth the price of the P3 and that has a 24 hour battery life and a lanyard.

Do,you have the updated battery cap with new spring that Provape had released.....at a cost of $15 plus post I think?

I clean my P3 once a week whether it needs it or not and I have to say that it hasn't put a foot wrong- Battery life is great. I think the P3 has a very efficient use of battery power. How are people getting their threads and contacts so grubby ???

I haven't cleaned mine at all and hasn't missed a beat. Its not really a provape trait to have models with issues but it seems that some do have problems with this one. My spring is a bit wonky in the battery end cap but hasn't caused me any issues, I'm sure it straightens right up when screwed in

As far as I know @tazmania441 as it is only a couple of weeks old. Yes Tom, mine is a bit wonky too but I don't think that is an issue. I am also using brand new AW IMR batteries but I have sent away for another make which clairea has suggest work better in the P3. Time will tell. The thing that annoys me most is having to carry spare batteries around. That really gets on my goat.

It's so easy for juice to get into places it shouldn't be, to be fair. I do like the P3, but am so much a convert to DNA40 that it doesn't get much of a look in these days...
