Concern over e-cigs on planes

Ooops re e-cigs on planes

OMG if they stopped allowing e-cigs on planes in the future that could be a bit disastrous for us - we wouldn't be able to go on holiday abroad with our e-cigs. Also what would happen to the likes of Fasttech - everything would have to literally be shipped on a boat and take months to get to us

Wonder if the guy left the battery switched on by mistake ???

The FAA and CAA already have regulations that cover rechargeable batteries,
On cargo aircraft and in the holds and cabins of passenger aircraft. Changing
The rules and regulations is such a long winded and slow process that it is unlikely
To happen for a single instance of a potential problem that was dealt with.

On the other hand the article served it's purpose in slinging some mud!

if they did ban e-cigs then surely other battery divices should be banned too ie...laptops...phones etc.

But seriously what kind of idiot loads a fully assembled ecig into a suitcase? You break down the components and pack them properly with batteries esp stored so they cannot contact anything.
