I often see box mods advertised with 'The usual marks from atties.' Although not a major problem it is very unsightly.
My fix for that is a small disc of Teflon, I cut mine from a piece of Teflon used for lining the bottom of an oven. I used a scrap piece cut from a sheet that was to large to fit the oven. Another problem is rotating the AFC rings on atties like the Squape(R) where you have to slacken the atty off a bit to turn the ring. I cut the outer dia of my Teflon disc so as to allow clearance for the ring to turn with the atty still firmly in position. Sorry if this has been mentioned before, it's so simple that I'm sure it has

The thing I don't get is that both these problems are so easy to address in the design.
I don't have any atties that can mark the body of a mod, but guess it's screws on the base that aren't countersunk enough.
If the AFC ring was a fraction of a mm narrower on the Squape that would solve that one.

Cracking idea mate. My ipv2 has a hideous Atty mark where I screwed down a kayfun with the airflow screw had come out a little.
Could of cried.
All airflow screws now removed.
Might make a few of these for the hana and ipv2. Thanks @scooby

Great idea. I'm using a thin o-ring under my squape at the moment, but I'll give this a try as it'll get rid on the need to align it!!

I use this idea on my super shiny built box mod under an OCD ring and found that it still took the paint off with repeated removal of atties but the paint certainly lasted a lot longer than it would without it.
