Anyone with experience of Vaping in Ecuador?

Off to Ecuador to do a CELTA (Teaching nglish as a Foreign Language) course and then planning on working there for a while. Whilst i'll be taking supplies for 6 months plus, and the kind folk at Mom and Pop's have assured me they'll deliver to me, has anyone got any Vaping Experience, Hints or tips for Ecuador or South America in general? Any information much appreciated

Seems to be no issues also you can get stuff imported from the states a lot cheaper by sounds of it.

Its an amazing country with some incredible landscapes and views.
If your heading near a costal area try one of the local ceviches carts.

CELTA course is based at Montanita - surf central - so will definitely be sampling the local cuisine

Already contacted Tami from Mom and Pop's so at least me DIY Tobacco Praze can be ordered - and should have enough wick amd wire for a year or so

Would do - but am giving a lead of bits away to an Irish Vaper tomorrow - to save packing space and to be passed on. Still will have a couple of eGo's and Evods for emergencies

Need to try a country that has barefoot weather 24/7 365 at least once - and no fecking about with daylight hours will be nice too - Light at 6am/Dark at 6pm

Won't earn a fortune, but enough to happily muddle through

Have a great time digicig. I grew up in Ecuador and loved the place. The beaches are great and the mountain scenery stunning. We lived in Ancon and Quito. My dad was an oil worker. And I have to agree with igual, the ceviches are a treat. I would love to go back for a visit just to see how it's changed.

Well been in Ecuador for almost a week and haven't spotted a fellow vaper yet. In fact the only vaping tackle i've managed to spot was a cig-a-like set at the largest mall - and my Spanish is inadequate as yet to ask any questions - but gather was pretty expensive - especially by local standards. From chatting to a lass in the hotel i gather an eGo type starter kit is around $90 (£60ish) and juice around $25-35 for 30ml. When a pack of 20 is between $3-4 i can see why it hasn't caught on yet. At least until the smokers discover fasttech and similar

Have had no problems vaping in hotel rooms, or when generally out and about as folk can tell it's not smoking. Haven't been able to source PG from a pharmacy yet (a couple did get me to write it down and check if they could order it on their system) and the VG i did find was $2.60 for a 100ml

Mom and Pop's have said they'll deliver to me over here once i get a temporary address though - which will sort me juice out (did bring 200ml of DIY Praze in my hold luggage with no problems despite US customs checking me bags) - and also 200ml of 72mg + some flavouring - so should be OK for a month or 2

Have a good time. One thing I noticed over there was that it gets dark fast and light fast in the mornings being right on the equator.

A few folk have given we fascinated looks - it's not that folk are unaware of the concept of ecigs - just they've never actually seen a non cig-a-like cos folk can't afford them - even at fasttech prices
