Isn't there a switch on bottom for charging your mobile? Has this been accidentally moved?

Check your Puff Counter in Digital display, sometimes it gets to 999 and can't quite cope and needs resetting to zero. If it stays green and is auto firing I'd be inclined to turn it off and google for the next idea. You need Mini Hex/Star Shaped Torx drivers to get those wierd screws out anyway. I've taken one apart before and it's not TOO difficult, but the wiring is Fragile inside so no Big Tugs!!

You shouldn't post it anywhere, not in that condition.
When the button lights is it actually firing, can you hear anything from your atty?
If it is firing I'd go straight to the fire button - the sprung contact may have collapsed.

You will have to remove the fire button first before you can get the top cap off. It sounds like you have an internal short on the centre pin. Also check that the grommet around the centre pin hasn't split and has enabled juice to saturate the board. Have you attempted to plug the charger in ?

It's firing okay when the fire button is pressed, so no short.
Ignore the following if you're not a confident soldering iron user:
I'm wondering now if the software has 'hung'. If you could get into it and disconnect the battery for 5 minutes could revive it. If that doesn't work it could be juice has baulked the board. Only chance (and a low chance) of fixing a juice/board issue is to soak the board for a couple of days in IPA and then 2 days drying. But that really is a slim chance. If disconnecting the battery doesn't work then leave the battery disconnected and store it or donate it for spares.
Probably not what you're wanting to hear. Every MVP owner I know loves their little box of magic.

yourgurnard Glad to hear it's sorted itself. Bear in mind though symptoms like this are probably caused by juice. The symptoms have gone but not the juice - it's just dried a bit. Get yourself prepared with the correct torx driver and a bottle of IPA. next time it happens get it cleaned Now enjoy

Yeah, Juice-Related Would Make Sense as I've Had a Lot of Weeping (Re-Built..) Clearos Recently, as Well as the Firing Pin Grommet Changes. Ain't Had a Call From the Old Man Yet...He's Prob. Still in His Garage!!!
