cotton or silica ?

I use cotton - it's cheap and easy to use and I can easily put it into any shape needed and it gives imho a nice and fluffy vape

I use cotton wool. I've tried kgd and rayon, but I just prefer good old cotton wool. Never even bought any silica. The silica I got free with my atties I used up as a 'flavour' wick when rebuilding kanger dual coils.

I use cotton also Cliva, recently bought some Japanese Hung fung low, or something like that , the cheep stuff from Boots works just as well in my opinion.

Japanese cotton for me now. Much better taste than anything else i have tried.

I`m stuck with only silica usage. Have allergy towards cotton,rayon.

Just my frigging luck.

Coupled with allergy towards strong PG mixes.

But it`s better than `killer` cigarettes.

Silica takes more hammer, but is not so versatile as cotton wool nor does it vape as well!

A Week or So Ago, I Would'a Voted Cotton:- All Me Clearos are Sporting Re-Built Micro-Coils, Wicked Wiv Muji....BUT....Tried Mesh Again, Luved it......& Bought a Kraken Clone, Built Me Magma Wiv EkoWool in a Mesh Sleeve...& Trying to Find the Diamond Wheel for My Dremel to Chop the S/S Rope!
Cotton Over Silica, Generally, BUT.....Mesh/EkoWool in the Magma's V. Nice....So....Abstained From Voting!!!

Mostly use jap cotton, but still use silica for flavour wicks (to prevent flooding) in kanger heads.

I really hate regular cotton balls and rayon, they seem to have a negative effect on taste, boiled or not.

But in krakens.. a different story. A tri wick of mesh rope and a few jap cotton strands rocks.

Different wicks for different uses I guess.

I voted Silica . . . stockpiled miles of the stuff when I first started on rebuildables, don't mind cotton - though I think I prefer rayon out of the two.

Silica just seems to suit what & which flavours I generally tend to use, for my tastes.

Grahams Celucotton rayon all the way with me. Spent a couple of weeks going between rayon and jap cotton pads and the rayon just made the juices taste better.
