I forgot to add about the cone..
It is sometimes a faff taking the cart off to refill, as the cone seems (not all the time) to loosen the atty.
I recently got some drip tips, and use them all the time now. Hardly ever use carts, so no problems at all with leaving the cone on.
Drip tips are really cheap, I got mine from LF, the delrin type. Well worth a bash, and the flavour of juices comes through a bit better on the 510 atty when you drip.

Thing is, you hardly touch the button on mine, to activate. Don't trust it not to activate in pocket or bag !!

Mine's in my pocket on nights out, no case or nothing, just by itself, atty attached, and it's never activated so far. You watch, say it won't happen then it does, i'll get a burnt hand now I've mentioned it Ahh you got the drip tips Lolli, that's good. Another advantage of them for me is, when I'm drunk I always used to overfill the carts, now I know just to drip twice, and use that as an indicator for one 'cigarette'. You gotta put a flame to a cigarette, so my flame is now 2 drops of juice

I understand now Lolli. I can usually unscrew my atty just by twisting the cartridge, providing it's not done up too tight. That way there is far less faff

Jaki, I'll give that a go, tho' I suspect my carts are not a tight enough fit ??? My first few lots of carts were a much better/tighter fit

I've noticed that some carts from the same batch are too fat and some fit perfectly. Not exactly precision engineering, obviously But we're grateful scylla

Dee, have you spoken to LF about this? I have a battrry completely fail after almost a month and they have replaced it for me without quibble I am all for splitting a pack of batteries if anyone else is interested, but I don't like the lack of warranty on the TW or TECC multipacks and I can't understand why they would offer a 28 day warranty on singles, but only DOA returns on multi pack? Abe has multi packs that work out at less than a tenner per battery, although only white at the moment. Edited for appalling smelling pistakes Jaki I don't really think I can blame anyone but me for this. I have fried the battery myself so I won't be asking LW to replace it. They were fantastic with my problems at first and replaced everything without quibble. I paid for the extra battery as it wasn't the battery at fault. I've just given myself a smacked wrist and told myself not to do it again Actually it has bought up a potential problem with the battery though as most of us ladies will probably just chuck them in our bags. I'm very aware of how I store it in my bag now, taking great care not to shove it against something that could potentially press the button.

It's a shame they can't make the Riva with some sort of locking button. But I guess that would add to the cost & most likely size as well.

(not convinced bout the Riva button at all) My button is so sensitive! To take it out I feel I must disconnect the attie - which, because of the cone, is a faff, but it's not so good without the cone I feel. Prob end up just using at home Have to get something else to take out n about

Well done, Lolli - no-one else could do that if they tried I mustn't get complacent but the neck lanyard with the SD means I never have to put it in a bag or pocket. I expect the crocheted lanyards will solve the problem scylla x
