Anyone Dealt With Innokin on Faulty Kit?

Ey Up gang,

wondering how it went if you have....

Basically, Mini-Gun#1's Coolfire-II was duly presented to him for xmas, but the fire button has become very intermittent, so it doesn't work more than it works. I've filled the contact form in, innokin's product verifier has said yes, it's genuine, but I couldn't say where it was bought from as robby had kindly got it through AliExpress in the Nov 11 sale.

As most of us know, the fire button is a known weak point on the CF-II, and for it to have gone after around 10 weeks use, how likely are Innokin to help out with this? Anyone hazard a guess??

I`ve never had to deal with them GunJack but heard nothing but good things about their customer service

Aerosol IPA (Servisol IPA 170) sometimes revives them, got my Lavatube V1 going several times

Yeah, tried isoprop on his first CF-II after stripping it down, but the switch itself is a sealed unit so no penetration inside Don't want to touch the newer one if there's a chance of a warranty repair/replace...

Well, they have stated their policy is 3 months only, so no repair/replacement forthcoming from Innokin So, I have asked them if they will at least supply the correct switch so I can do it myself....waiting game again

OK, so Innokin won't even sell me a switch to repair this myself

so word of warning, if you have anything Innokin and it's looking even slightly dodgy within 3 months, get on to them quick, one day over 90 days and I think you'll be out of luck Just wish I could ID the switch to source a couple from somewhere....

Not had one either, but if you can open it up and measure the switch DigiKey, RS, Farnell or Rapid will probably sell one almost the same size.

that's the next stage, just realised I may have been a numpty and not looked at it properly.... the horizontal mounting may just be a mounting and not part of the switch....
