Need some advice...
Bought some 510 atties from TECC, I also ordered some new re-fillable carts.
I have tried the new atty & it seems a bit iffy at the moment, however, I tried a new cart in it & it's a very tight fit. When I've vaped using this combo, I'm getting a burning sensation in the back of my throat. I've now put an old cart in that originally came with the Riva & it seems a better fit & it's vaping a bit better.
Do you think it could be the fact the the new cart is too tight fitting or could it be something else?
* in fact it's now being a bit hit or miss with this old cart ???

Hissie - I don't like the filling in the new TECC carts. It doesn't seem to absorb. Either wash it out a few times and re-pack it, or put in a different filler. I had a similar problem and reverted to using one of my Riva carts - much better all round.

Thanks Hanow.
Are you finding the new TECC carts abit tight fitting or is it just mine & my new atties?

Hi Hissie Agree with you on carts being very tight fitting, can now see why some vapers can unscrew attie by turning cart .Don't know if that's making any difference to vaping quality. Have just taken Hanow's advice and changed the filling on my new cart, was getting nowwhere. Vape a little bit better quality now. Before with the original filler there was juice everywhere - ugh!

I've taken the filler out & rinsed it. Put some of the blue filler in & although the cart is still very tight it seems a little better of a vape than it was. The best filling ever is the white stuff that came with the Riva carts. I'll certainly miss it when it's gone

I've just blue-stuffed a new-old cart, a round black one, it looks like a 510 cart, and am using it with the Dibley cos it fits the TECC 901 atty perfectly. I'm on the first filling and it is lasting much better than dripping, but it's after RE-filling that performance falls off. See how I go scylla Scylla, try the straw mod, i've been using it for ages, it lets the juice get to the bottom of the cart much more quickly, and i find i can get lots of juice in.... in case you've forgotten, just cut a bit of the plastic tube from a cotton bud and stick it down the side of the cart, so it reaches the bottom, cut it diagonally at the bottom, so there's more of an opening, and level with the foam on top.... means you don't have to take the foam out and get juicy fingers to get a decent refill

Lilac, do you put the straw in before or after the filling?
How long does the straw last before needing to cut another one?

Has anyone else found the Riva atties are pretty gunked in primer?, whilst the Tornado ones aren't too bad at all. (blow out to clean quite easily) I've cleaned the Riva ones 3 times & there's still a mild yuk taste!

I found the gunk on the atties I ordered from TW are vile. I posted on a thread about it at the time, but can't remember which one now. It affected my lips and mouth, I couldn't taste anything else, let alone the vaping. Also a numbness. The ones I have from Eastmall (LR) are fantastic and were easy to "break in".

Loli, never noticed any gunk problem with the LF Riva atties, but I swallowed some primer when I initially blew on the Tornado ones from TECC. Was horrid.
I'm not experienced enough yet to know whether they are working at their full potential.

I'm sure it varies from batch to batch ??? I've had atties from LF & TECC lately, and, in both cases, some have been ok (just blown them through then primed with a little juice), whilst some have been revolting! I've got a couple that have had three washes & still that yuk taste lingers on n on n on........ Latest brainwave - LOL ............ I'm wondering about trying those teeeeeeeeny tiny bottle brushes, that are for cleaning between teeth, on the atties

I'm sending you a Liberty Flights LR901 attie. So, so kind and thoughtful, Chrissie, but quite unnecessary. I AM OK!!! You know how I burble, I wasn't pleading poverty - talking to myself more than anything I've improved with the blue stuff even since last night Oh dear scylla

Scylla - I have several metres of white wadding (due to my eBay snipe). I am happy to send a piece of that to you to give it a go if you want. Anyone else too that might like to try some. Message me your address, and I will happily sort/post some. I am going away next week for a week - so would need to arrange before Tuesday. Luv-n-hugs xxxxxxxxxx
