Are there any differences between the various iterations of the iStick 30? I have the Smart version and apart from the top looks just like my Smart 20. I use a loo seat on the 20w version which works perfectly, but the loo seat doesn't fit on the 30, so screwed my Subohm directly into the 510. The unit works perfectly and no problem connecting. But I have a gap of about 1/2-1 mm between the base of the atty and the top plate on the mod. It just looks odd. Maybe it's because the mod and the atty are different manufacturers, but wondered if others have found the same issue with the gap?

Yes mine is the same but not with all tanks depends what's on there, I use a smok air valve which fills it up and saves my threads , it's a great little mod I think powerful and great battery life and it read ohms spot on on mine

Can't speak of the smart from experience but the i tick 30watt has an auto adjusting 510 centre pin unlike the istick 20
The 30 pin adjustment minimised the likelihood of s gap, is the smart 30 centre pin fixed ?

The Smart 30 has a sprung pin but I guess that the depth is less than the 510 thread of the mini. My GS atties fit fine. The Lemo Drop fits fine, so it must be a Kanger thing.

I'll try a sub tank mini on Istick 30 tonight and see if there's a gap.

Worked a treat. Thanks Jim. Ordered yesterday and arrived this morning. Great service from Stealthvape. Although it was an expensive 22mm washer it is nice and polished and makes the unit look better.

Oops forgot to post last night but I did try the mini on the 30 and there is no gap. Can only think the smart 510 doesn't adjust as much.

All my other atties fit, just the ST Mini. The Lemo no problem. The centre pin does adjust, but obviously not far enough. Or maybe it's just this one mod? Anyway the washer sorted it, and it looks like they are supposed to be with each other. They do call it an OCD washer.

I've found this to be a common problem with all the mods/attys I have had and with those of others. It doesn't take much, less than a mm, for things to either work/not work, sit flush or not, put more/less strain on threads, look ok/silly... good example - I got a couple of iStick20 clones from China, and the loo-seat bending adapter wouldn't fit them, the 510 thread was too shallow on the devices to properly screw the loo-seat down, rendering them (the loo-seats) useless I might have to resort to a couple of 0.5mm washers and file out air channels in them just for the atty to sit on the sticks and reduce strain on the threads (those from stealthvape would be too thick, don't think I could raise the centre pin on the sticks up enough to contact using 1+mm washers .... ego connectors are easier to deal with than 510-only mods, I just use plinth/beauty ring on the ego thread to support the 510-connected atty

Never had a problem with the loo seats, but having said that both my 20's have eleaf atties on them. But I tend to lift the loo seat slightly, screw on the atty and then close the lid. If I do it with the seat down I struggle to screw them on properly.
