im having probs with wicking the occ coils ,i cant get above 22 watts without dry hit on kanth and i dont like the rebuildable head as mine restricts air flow a bit(sounds like a ruddy jet)but ill get there I have found that the original coils the cotton is packed pretty tight, when I rebuild them I got a tip from a fellow Ape on POTV to prick the cotton slightly through the hole on either side and it's made a hell of a difference. Dont push to far though as you will only compress the cotton.

I was getting less and less of a hit from my Ni200 OCC head on my China Flask with the TC cutting in far too early and after I had read the same tip, I managed to push a pin right through the centre and out the other side using a gentle screwing effect, it made a huge difference.

decoy YiHi SX330v4s in the IPV4 and they say it has Temp Protection, and looking at latest piccy it looks similar to the SX Mini M display, just waiting for Gearbest to ship it.

Looks like YiHi couldn't get real time wattage control and had to settle for measuring r between pulses. The profiles are strange the standard seemed to have the fastest heat up on mine, but it is faulty. I think Phil is getting a better understanding from when he did the DNA that many of the criticisms he made are just physical limitations of poor atty electrical paths on atties like the Kf4 & Squape and the properties of nickel, but he is not quite there yet: a good controller can't fix a bad build. I note that only the DNA can cope with these because it uses refinement mode and real-time wattage control, maybe they could both benefit from a feature that you can have a memory bank for a coil that would remember it's lowest resistance. Can't believe that this gets a thumbs up when the DNA40 didn't when you look at the points raised I would have the DNA ahead by quite a bit.

The review was centered around the m-class before the chip, it was not a stand alone 350j review. I think that's the difference. TBH, I prefer the dna system and I prefer the vape I get from it I could always tell the difference in flavour between a pulse width device and a flat signal device, the pulse width always stripped some of the flavour notes. Everyone seems to not factor in the attie itself when measuring these devices, be they dna or sx. The atties ability to conduct current through its body and parts and its internal resistance plays an enormous part in the overall performance and they all perform differently.

They have announced a SX350J-V2 that has a few extra wire types (Ni/Ti/SS/Iron/Silver/Gold) and something called SXi-Q control system. Sounds like that should all be fw upgrade rather than getting a new mod as going just by the pic they have not added much so not worth starting a new thread IMO. Another nail in the coffin of SX Mini M Class resale values. SS will be a problem as the TCR varies between grades.

My M Class got posted today, didn't want to sell it here. Yihi can do temp control but not for DNA money. happy with my IPV D2 and sig 75w but not spending anymore than £40 on a mod with a yihi chip in it until I read they do something special, in this case they didn't, it can't control the coil quick enough and this is my final word and opinion on this mod/chip.

Reading the thread on ECF it looks looks they are not going to release any more firmware updates for the V1 SX350J Mini M Class. There is also mention of a new dual 18650 at the end of the year.

That is going to upset a lot of M class owners, I've already noticed a few going up in the classies - I think the ML will not sell as well as the M did. Got my new VT200 yesterday to go with the one that @windows made for me, and I'm thinking that the evolv chipset is much better.
