I have been and still am very happy with my mini protanks v2 and RG200's I've got bigger protanks and an Igo dripper but day to day I default to the mini protanks. I can recoil the heads easily nowadays and I switched to muji cotton wicks awhile ago, so I think I've pretty much got the optimum set up for the tanks. I prefer a cool vape - but surprisingly on the mini tanks having bought and used the replacement air flow controllers for quite a while I have gone back to the original bases on all but 1 of them as I prefer a tighter draw. I've tried the BVC protank coils but stopped using them when I couldn't easily identify what the packing stuff was around the wicks see thread here: allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/49705/vertical-single-protank-coils?page=1&scrollTo=867635 I have my shineyitus pretty much under control these days, however I really like the look of the mini nautilus with steel cage but aesthetics alone isn't enough to get me to press "checkout" every time I've had one in my shopping basket lol Gearbeast have an authentic mini nautilus for £12.04 at the moment which is about as cheap as I have ever seen it, fasttech have the cage for around £6 and clone coil heads at 5 for £4 so for around £25 I'd be set - however, will I see much difference in taste and performance over my mini protanks to make it worth getting one? I'd also want to try recoiling it at some point albeit that the clone coils are cheap as chips at the moment I would prefer to switch to muji cotton wicks long term. I have everything in my baskets ready to check out - but am still undecided. Help!!!

I like both and use both and while I don't re coil the Nautilus BVC heads they do last for ages, easily 3 or 4 weeks and I buy them from FT so it makes them very cheap. I use the unicoils from Jonco and change the wicks when I feel they need doing, so about every 2 weeks. I run the Nautilus at about 15 watts and the Protanks about 10 to 12 watts the Nautilus gives more Vapour.

I like & use both too & nothing else. I would say go for that Nauti as you won't be disappointed, snow.

I also use both systems like Des snow . . . . the Protank ' styles ' probably more so, mainly because I can recoil the heads easily. Although I enjoy the different vaping experience a variety of systems give, I don't tend to stick with anything exclusively, no matter what element of vaping that might be.

I have to agree, I too have a batch of protank3's <<because they are easy to recoil>> but I will hold my hands up and admit I prefer vaping on my nautilus tanks so I accept the additional costs of ready made coils and one day I'll get around to learning how to recoil them (if I can)
I also get a good few weeks from each coil if used soley so its not exactly pricey. I try to use rebuildables like my goblins and subtanks and save my nautilus for out and about vaping, that way I'll get months from the coil! (if divided down to hourly usage, so to speak)

I stick an ego battery and a mini protank 3 with one of these little airflow control bases in my pocket if i'm going out somewhere that allows vaping indoors and i can't bothered to step outside.

I use only nautis at present. I would say with the metal mesh tank can be hard to see juice level. Got a 5mil recently and great as a fill up lasts most of a day.

Yeah those are the airflow bases I have Get Off My Cloud but I've gone back to the orginal protank bases aside from the 1 I still use for the fruit flavours that I vape at 10w - as I tend to stick around the 6w mark for custards and dessert flavours I found I like the tighter draw that I get with the original bases.

Thank you for the help - I've finally been convinced and just ordered a mini nautilus from gearbeast Got as far as the checkout on fasttech for the cage and coils but hit a snag as they wont accept paypal because of the aspire cage - no idea why that should be a problem I really would rather pay via paypal for the protection it gives me when buying from china so am now ifing and aming about whether to just get the coils from ft and maybe get the cage from myepack though that means £6.99 plus £1.95 shipping opposed to the £5.25 ft price.

You can't purchase anything Aspire authentic from Fasttech snow as Aspire do not support Fasttech selling them so cheap, however I have purchased Aspire stuff from them using my debit card without any problems, alternatively buy something to the same value, cancel the order and get refunded via a gift certificate and then purchase the cages using the gift certificate, sounds a faff but takes minutes and you don't have to use your debit card.
