mart166 I'm totally out of the loop too. I have been happily bimbling along and now I suddenly have an urge for new shiny things. Now your like me, IN TROUBLE, lol MP I am suddenly realising how out of the loop I am. I think I have what I want narrowed down to a few possibilities. The subtank I am 99.9% certain I will be getting. Shinyitis is going to make my other half do this icon_shoppingm

I'm no expert in Subtankland, but I think that if you want a coil resistance of 3ohm (!!) you would be better off getting something else; the Subtank and it's many bedfellows are designed for (as the name suggests ) firing under 1 ohm. They rely on a large airflow over the coil to keep the vapour cool and voluminous, and I'm not sure if this would be the case with such a high resistance. Maybe someone else can confirm my statement above? You would be better off with something like the Nautilus which has a variety of different coil resistances, and likes lower power to work well.

chykensa is right, a subtank would be useless at that sort of build, and again,a nautilus would probs be ideal for you

I really like the subtanks for the air flow and always coil them to 1.8 to 2.1 ohm. I no longer use my kayfuns as I find the air flow too tight. It all depends on what vape you want. I have just received a subtank mini from myepack last week and it now has 4 different setting in stead if 3 so there is now a smaller hole, no use to me as I use it as open as possible

Hi, week or two back got Authentic Subtank Mini off Amazon UK, for speed (Checked out Authentic with ID etc). Just received Authentic one from Fasttech (checks out also), but this one as one air hole lot smaller ie about 1/32" (instead of about 1/16"), so should be better for peeps who want tighter draw option. Just compared, its certainly tighter draw. Got some clone OCC's as well, plus 5 authentic ones, from Fasttech. Packaging, writing on OCC's same, only diff's i can see, no Authenticating Label on Clones, seal red on Authentic, white on Clone. Cheers Bob ps waiting for a Clone Mini to come as well. Edit should have finished writing this post earlier, got waylaid Edit again, clone Subtank from Fasttech, as arrived, dosn't authenticate, no small hole at all ie blank/ fully closed off at that position.
