I've been building my own coils on a Subtank mini for quite a few mths now. I eventually got the coils working great. Was doin micro coils with 26 awg 3 mm diameter 5 wraps using jap cotton. Then I moved on to parallel coils. At first they were fantastic. Great flavour and vapour. But the last few days all my coils aren't coming out right at all. Can't for the life of me figure out wat I'm doing wrong. Even the micro coils are coming up just average. Not great flavour or vapour. Anyone any tips on wat I may be doin wrong??

Not sure what you're doing wrong but i prefer spaced coils in RBA's, microcoils can choke off the wick particularly with high VG juice.

Is the atty all sparkly clean xtc263? Maybe the juice channels/airflow channels are clogged?

Can't beat some good old hot water soaking now and then with tanks, all mine are taken apart every month soaked, wiped down, recoiled and rewicked any longer and the taste seems to suffer.

tbh ive been in the same place with the sub tank and i think half of it is down to the fact that when 1st got the tank it blew me away with the amount of flavor and vape it gave out and now its just mehh at the moe ive settled on .3 ohms .5 wire and spaced and a ross between pancake wicking and rose type wick set up

I just use a kayfun type build and all mine still chuck out the flavour and vapour keeping it simple seems to have worked best for me, when I've tried the more exotic builds things go awry which I put down to two things my building and the fact the subtank rba is a very simple setup and perhaps simple builds might be the best way with it.

Utilising an old thread rather than start a new one I've just made my first dual coil, all looks very neat & tidy using my Kuro type thing for the first time, I've got the rough result I was after but when I fire it one coil lights up straight away but the other takes 3 or 4 seconds, I guess there's an obvious answer.... but I dont know it

Can be a number of things QDistance from posts different, one more wrap on one than the other, connections not tight enough. Also are they spaced wraps or closed?
