I'm torn.... I really like the look of the Defender, and the reversible 510/ego adapter I think is probably the best bit of design I've seen on a mod ever. I also like the fact it's mounted centrally rather than at one end of the device. I saw paulymeatballs excellent slideshow review of it and only reinforced the (IMHO) good points of this device... HOWEVER.....I'm pretty settled with my kit, and my #2 reason for vaping was to save dosh, so I'm not really able to justify buying one for myself as I feel I've got enough already, especially as it is a fixed battery which I don't do these days other than an iStick and a couple of well-worn (and long-lived) X6's.... Any opinions guys'n'gals????

The 36w version is £22 here link even if you only get 6 months use out of it that's 90p a week, unless you had a 3 cigs a week smoking habit you're golden in terms of the cost i would suggest. Or they have the 50w version which takes an 18650 for just over £31 link

The 50W version doesn't have the reversible connector Dammit, I got all excited then when you said removable 18650.... Now, if the 50W had the same body & connector then I think I would be decided...... however, it bl00dy-well hasn't ...actually, the body on the 50W isn't as sleek as the smaller one, so even if it had the right top on it.... no, it needed to be the 36W body but with 18650 capability.... bugger
