I've had a number of those creme brulee torches, cheap and expensive. All of them leaked gas after a while and when I came to use them needed refiling. Two of them spewed flames, and not from where it should have. I wouldn't have another one. Gas is getting harder to find and it costs for the amount you get, now I find this incinerates oxidises mesh nicely, makes short work of creme brulee, baked alaska and any other searing/caramelising. I'm told it's good for soldering copper pipework as well.
