I wasn't aware vaping was banned in Australia, the Vaping Bogan is in Australia and he regularly does reviews mentioning Australian vendors.
Do you mean there's a ban on taking stuff into the country?
I know they have ridiculously tight customs which stop you taking virtually anything consumable into the place.

I think in Australia just the nicotine is banned but you can import it legally I think, theres some vape shops there that sell mods and zero nic tho with high strength flavoring so it can be mixed later.

Sorry, you are right, sale of vaping gear is banned however lots just buy from abroad.

I do wonder if you can take stuff in however, my GF wants to go to Aus possibly in 2017 and I don't because of the status of vaping there, it may be the same here by then however!

My understanding of the laws in most of Australia is that Nic is illegal to sell, but vaping equipment and no nic juice is available. It is legal to import up to 3 months worth of nic juice for personal consumption in all but one state.

tomj777 may be able to clarify as I know he sends juice to a friend in Oz.

I regularly send three Kayfun-months worth of juice over to a friend in Melbourne (who then shares it with her boy friend). I suspect I could be sending three months of TC-octacoil-months worth of juice and no-one would care as long as there wasn't an attempt to resell (especially if that was three months of 100mg/ml, which would be bmarket kinda naughty). For the record, it's all 18mg/ml from Chefs and the reason I order rather than my friend is complicated (I am indirectly reimbursed).
Common or garden Aussies can order from aboard themselves. A friend visited both NZ and Oz earlier in the year and had no problem with his cig-a-like (unlike in Singapore where he was almost deported for arguing the toss with a customs chap).

For hardware and zero nic eliquid, it was dependant upon the State they are in. I think banned in Victoria, legal in QLD and the status in NSW changed overnight last year (orchestrated so that vape shops were raided and shut down, from memory). Not sure if you can buy hardware in store in any state now. You will find a number of companies, Vapeking, for instance, who have set up a company abroad and use a drop ship (I think) service to send. I could be wrong with that setup, btw.
