You can't change the watts in temp mode, can only change the temp.

It's how i use temp control, others balance the two. Once it's read the resistance correctly lock it in...hold fire and up.

Anytime I use mine it sits at 40 watts in temp mode which is a bit high. Not great really!! It's automatically using the watts it needs to run at that temp, not the full 40...hence lock the resistance in because if it jumps you don't want the full 40watts hitting some builds.

It Automatically regulates the watts in TC mode, put it in TC mode and watch the wattage as it hits the temperature limits, the watts drop.
