Mech Mod? Yes or No

I seem to have aquired 5 Kayfuns which I love! I build between 1-1.5ohm coils never lower than 1ohm would Mech Mods be OK with these and would they be more future proof than VV/VW Box Mods as eventually these will stop working! What is a good Mech Mod at a reasonable cost, help appreciated!

They are fine with a mech as long as you understand battery safety and have decent batteries.

Until recently I only used Mech's, Partly because at the time mods that could output 30W were not cheap and a similar power can be had from a Mech that will fire whatever you put in it(as long as your battery can take it).
As you mention they are reliable and most fault that may develop can be fixed with a bit of TLC.
This is one of my favorite Mech's Osmium Clone Super tough, didnt miss a beat and duel battery, so 2xSamsung25R's and it will give lots of power and last all day and night easily.
Just dont put the batteries in the wrong way or youll have sparks flying out the fire button.

All I used to use is mech's with my Kayfuns for the same reason as hijack. Just make sure you buy decent batteries, clearly it is good to have a sound knowledge of battery safety so the links VapingBad posted will be good to read.
