No more e-packet :(

So I've just had an email from FT, to inform me, that due to certain items failing the new screening test for lithium batteries and flammable liquids, they will not be using the E-packet for some time. And just as I'd pulled the trigger on a snow Wolf!

They gave me the option of continuing with my order, but through the standard Singapore air mail or a full refund. I took the refund and once back in my account I will hit up @kov for a sig 150tc.

Just thought you'd all like to know

why cancel? ive not used epacket with my FT orders for months, and packs arrive just as timely received an order yesterday that was shipped on the 21st sept, (just over 2 weeks delivery) and an order shipped on the 18th, sept arrived on Thursday last week...

e-packet was a bit of a con imho best off without the option to add that extra few dollars for nothing

Just need to find out if it has the V1.5 firmware now as I really don't fancy the bugs that came with the V1.

phatfil, I cancelled because the last delivery the slow way took 3 weeks! I've just had my uwell crown turn up and need something to run it on quickly my 30w istick just won't cut the mustard

The crown is good under 30 watts but only with the rba deck and a build at 1 ohm (or higher )

At this moment it time I'm using stock coils as I'm not setup for building but it's definitely something that's on my radar.

That's what swayed me towards the SW, had a quick feel of one at my local B&M and it just felt and looked beautiful, but having read a few things about it struggling with the SS coils in the crown I think this whole debacle has done me a favour. The sig gets so many good reviews but it really is the Quasimodo of box mods

I'll just close my eyes when I use it and think of the SW it won't know

To be honest it's going to be the sig for me now, too many good reviews to ignore and I can get it sorted before the weekend

Just received this, and have chosen Singapore post, and refund of any price difference. The order was for 4 packets of ready made coils, 4 drip tips and, lol, an FT logo. Someone had told me about the latter and I thought it was funny, plus FT save us so much money and items always eventually turn up, lol. Seems to me that e-packet isn't going to happen again at all if any items that resemble the size/shape/weight of batteries/liquid aren't getting through. Seems rather draconian of the post office system.

I had the same message this morning, I'd actually split my order as I'd got another istick in one so had put a subtank a coil jig and some occ stock coils in a separate order with the epacket option, I've just opted for Singapore post now and a partial refund on the difference in cost.
