I used to re-wick the coils on my Protank 2, but it looks harder or impossible for the Mini Protank 3 which uses dual coils. With the Protank 2, I used to re-wick every week. Now I'm wondering if a dual coil lasts longer than a week.

It'll depend on which eliquids you use mainly doctorjellybean as to whether they are fast coil gunkers or not - though you can always rewick your dual coils to single when the time comes.  |

In my experience they last just as long as the single coil will. You can buy/use a nature vape coil for a dual coil tank (or make your own with some silicone tubing). There a single coil so you can re wick them your self. Theres another coil similar to the natuure vape I wanted to high light but I cant for the life of me recall who sells them??? Just use your single coils with an extra top cap on in the mini pro tank.
