I spotted these on fasttech and ordered a couple of packs as they seemed ideal for recoiling the square subtank/mini OCC off the shelf coil heads, www.fasttech.com/products/3961800Unfortunately the coil height is a bit too tall, any tips on how to stretch some of the coil bottom straight without damaging the perfect structure of the top most portion?? with a resistance of 0.5ohm (published not tested) i could loose 1/2 the coil and still have ample resistance for TC vaping. only thing i have thought of is securing the top portion i want to keep on a mandrel with tape, but that runs the risk of leaving unwanted adhesive on the coil, and will be weakest where i want it strongest. And solvent washing off any adhesive is a step too far for a couple of dollars worth of coils. thanks in advance folks..

Cheers dagl I had seen that excellent guide, and its the inspiration behind the grand plan.. the machine screw is worth a shot too Thanks.. it was a bit of a disappointment to open the bag and find the coils stood taller than the OCC head i am intending to shove them into..
